  Where is Bhagyaraj? I think he was easily the most succesful star of the early -to-mid 80's.
  
  What about guys like Sathyaraj, Prabhu etc.? I'm sure they also gave a lot of hits in the 80's and early 90's.

  Aalavanthan was deem a failure due to its very high cost ....so the movie has to reach estimate at least 200days top recovered the cost for making the movie.so IT ran for 125days thats a hit.

  Karthik has had a pretty good career. I had no idea he was right behind Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth from the late 80's to the mid 90's. Too bad he hasn't done anything great for the past few years.

  Defintely no arguement here hello. Karthik was the best-looking actor in his time. I still remember his "Chandramouli" routine in Mani Ratnam's "Mouna Raagam". I also loved him in Ratnam's "Agni Natchathiram" and "Idhaya Thamarai". But his best performance, in my opinion, came in Fazil's "Varusham 16". A classic.

  Wow! Kamal really dominated for three decades. Also surprised to see Karthik there. Not upset, but I'm really happy to see him there. Karthik was a damn good actor who never got his due.

  Kamal never dominated, while Rajni was around, perhaps in the mid seventies till late seventies, but since 80- till Now, Super* Rajni has been the unstopable dominator.
  
  I agree with u about karthick, he is one my favourite actor, but prabhu also gave lots of hits, esp, chinathambhi, so I think Prabhu / Karthick/ Satyaraj(another one of my favourite actor) should all be in the list!

  Karthick should be in the list, during mid 80's till mid 90's, while Mohan should be in the 80's list.
