A lot of hype was created by ilayaraja as if he was the first to introduce orchestration and rerecording in tamil films ignoring claims of msv. Even for his folk base, kvm was more native. now that arr has dethroned him,his followers say that arr only copied raja's style. It looks liks sour grapes story only. It seems that everyone forgets that the previous era also had all time greats and as the audience composition changes, it is only a illusion that music also is changing. I know for certain that msv was considered loud by fans of gr and crsubbraman and raja was considered loud by msv fans and arr was loud by raja etc. The story never ends. In this context, who is by far more versatile and creative ?
