All most the cine actors and actress were present for the Star Night in Malaysia and Singapore on 28 July and 29 July respectively.

Those who have seen it, appreciate could say something about the show such as artist performance, crowd response, etc.

Important messagge we are waiting from you all is the Superstar Rajini and Super actor Kamal performance and their fans support.

  I really appreciate Rajini in Singapore show. He is a gentleman. He accepts that Kamal is the main reason for Rajini to be successful. Kamal is so impressed by Rajini's speech.

  I was disappointed with Singapore Star Nite. Since Kamal and Rajini did not have much time to talk since the time given for them was less. The organaziers should have given more time for Kamal and Rajani bcos in Singapore the time is followed strictly. They should have cut some unnecessary portions like Abbas dance and some songs.

  My fav segments -
  Meena sang "Panju mittai" with Napolean. Beautiful voice, I really didn know she cld sing so well. I expected a baby voice but...and she looked astoundingly beautiful.
  Vijay was so cute, looked a little nervous on stage but this time selected the song "yennoda laila" which was a better choice compared to the one in KL show.
  Simran danced really well. Shows a lot of commitment in giving a good performance to the audience. At the end of the song she throwed some memoires in the form of soft toys that was something different, for once.
  Prabhudheva dance segment...oh I missed this one.. but heard from my family & friends it was really good. Prabu and Saratkumar also danced with him.
  Ramya krishnan looked beautiful and danced beautifully needless to say
  Overall the S'pore show was much better than I expected, however a bit too rush becos of time constraint. Somehow I got the feeling that the actors/actress were themselves disappointed that the show has to end in a rush from the looks in their eyes in the finale.

  Mega Star Night an embarrassment
  
  
  I REFER to Mariappan Eddiah and N. Chendra Yasan's letters (NST, Aug 21 & 29) respectively and would agree with both. The Tamil Mega Star Night was from a cultural point of view highly embarrassing. Those from the Tamil film industry are role models to Indian children and youth. They should respect their positions of being in the forefront as role models and exponents of culture and should show more concern about how much of and how well our culture is being preserved.
  
  Any Malaysian graduate who has studied overseas will know that "Malaysian Night" evokes an interesting and entertaining show in line with our culture and traditions. As a sitar player, undergoing strenuous training for years, later achieving top positions in Arts and Cultural Festivals, I would stress the point that while it is natural for the arts (dance) to evolve stylistically, care should be taken to preserve cultural aspects.
  
  A Tamil show, for example, promoting so much American-style pop dance is neither part of the Indian dance culture nor something to be proud of.

  Disapponted because no Indian tamil forumhubber bother to condemn the speech of Radharavee, Sathyaraj against our motherland and our people in the foreign soil.
  
  I condemn Radharavee, Sathyaraj for thier talks and condemn the SIFA leader Vijayganth and other focussed Stars Rajini and Kamal for not having guts(aanmai) to condemn these guys.

  They had debt of 4 crores for the construction of their building.. Since these guys became very poor by doing the "Desia chevai", they could not give back the money to the bank, the "Ilichavai' Indian Tamils took the "sumai' on themselves and cleared 3 crores of Debt. Another Cinema Thirudan Mu ka was the root-cause for taking Tamils money to handover to his cinema thiruttu naygal..
  
  Even that one crore can not be cleared by themselves and the govt of Singapore and Govt of Malaysia are not ruled by their cinema thirttu kootam, they had to come and sweat to get more money.. (they anyway consider every Tamilian as Ilichvayans). To make it worse they curse their own Ilichavai Tamils in the foreign soil(diplomatic!!).
  
  The worst part is, we, tamils always searching the leader from this Thiruutu Kootam.

  Radharavee, ruling party MLA himself, talked badly about the fellow Indian Tamils in the foreign soil, as though he was talking to his Pu. Thalavi about Mu.Ka...
  
  First place, instruction should have been given by the association(which is lead by Tamil loving
  nationlist leader 'Captain') not to talk badly
  about the motherland, which they failed to do so. Atleast after the 'incident' happened in Malaysia, this instruction should have been given and so again this Puratchi Thalaivi's party MLA should have never dare to talk in SG and jointed by Puratchi Tamilan.
  
  What makes the Tamil-salt nationalist, cauvery river savers, saviours of TN, God-send Saints of TN to keep quiet. The sources closes to someone say this
  
  Captain - Actually he wanted to give advice to the MLA after his talks in MY. But the problem was that he needed script for advice from
  'Aaroor Das' and a "close-up" shot. He managed to get this advice-script from Aaroor das by fax and timely arranged Sun TV Cameraman for
  close-up shot. While he was by-hearting and reherseling the advice-script, the singapore show too ended,he was helpless then.
  
  Sooper Star- This sooper * had dual mind whether to condemn him or not., because if he condemn this MLA, then blood-shed will be coming from MY and SG from Indian Tamils who are working in SG and MY. And also the hard-earned 'Bouquet' friendship made with Puratchi Thalavi then, might be spoiled up if he condemn her MLA.
  So he kept quiet.
  
  Sakalakala Vallavan- This SV was very busy with doing all sort of 'Sakalakalavallava' holy things with Simran and had no time to think abt this rubbish.But he found little gap before taking 'bath' and in fact talked with "mass suppoted' MLA, but neither SV nor MLA understood what he was talking about.
  
  Supereme Star - This star, also the secretary of this Assc,and Honorable member of Parliment, didn't want to spoil his 'honeymoon'trip by condemning the brother of his brandnew virgin wife and also he didn't get timely instruction from "Olaga Thamilar Thalaivar, Muthamil Vithagar' so he was helpless.
  
  Maaveeran -Also the vice president of this Assoc, and Honorable MLA of Asia's biggest consituency thought of condemning but he was afraid of his voice which is not manly at all and he was searching his beloved 'Aruvaal' but it was taken by the Airport authorities already and he was also helpless.
  
  Puratchi Tamilan - As he was always planning some puratchi to woo the puratchi thalaivi to get atleast "varia Thalaivar' post since it was very boring at home without movies ,he got some tips from the Current MLA's talkes.Saying "Urega Urega' he continued to talk like the MLA in SG show. Still Puratchi Thalavi was not too impressed, he was doing many puratchis in Cauvery water row with the company of 'His greatness' Vaigai Puyal.
  
  Imayam and Cine guys back Home :
  
  Imayam and others get tensed and ' unarchivasapattus' if Tamils are forsaken . But unfortunately (forutantely to them) in their dictionary "Tamil" means "current CM " and the current CM Pu.Tha was
  adored by the His Holiness "Nagaichuvai Chemmal M.P ".. They didn't get tensed and kept calm.
  
  Ulaga Thamil Sevai: Olaga Thamil Sevai seyyum Sun TV (which is owned by His Holiness and Honorable head of world Tamils, who proclaims the Tamil culture by having two legal wives) didn't censor these talks and broadcasted.
  
  Shamelss Tamils, we again and again going behind these fellows expecting them to lead us ..

  If I remember Correct We had a seperate thread to codemn this Third rated idiot Ratharavi who spoke ill about Indian Tamils ,in singapore function .This stupid called tamils as 'aadu meikkura koottam' .Whoever voted for this 'Panny' deserves to have this 'Kaatu Panni' as their MLA.
  
  That idiot thought he can get more by bullying Indian tamils infront of Singapore tamils .and That is a fashion .

  ok the malaysian mega star nite was the original one and i think that they are proud of that.well we didn't witness one here but i awtched the cd sent to me by my cousin from m'sia.the questions asked by the m'sians to rajni and kamal was awfull and i was annoyed by the the behaviour of two girls who kissed vijay up on stage.oh.. pitty that boy,he was so embaraced.
