Rajini is a peculiar star in Tamil Cinema. He is always quiet and doesn't reply to anyone who oppose or criticise him. Look at actress Manorama, director Bharthiraja and Vel Prabhakaran who criticised Rajini severely and now they are praising Rajini like nothing. Rajini don't do anything but he just keep quiet and speak to them as usual. According to Rajini, these people are just talking in emotions and also due to their real life situations. There is no need to bash them back or crticise them and they will understand him one day. That happened!

This one of his best qualities which everyone should follow. We should always be calm and should not throughout our emotions when someone is commending against us. No use to scold or bash which is only going to make even worst. Should forgive and be friend as usual.

Rajini sir, you are not only leading good model in film but also in REAL life. God Bless You!

  I really agree with your 2 points and i have repeatedly discuss this issie in Rajinidotcom.
  
  1. First of all he has not confirmed whether he wants to enter politics. If he says NO now, then he got no reasons to explain when he wants to enter politics later. So he put the blame on the GOD.
  
  The political dialogue in his movies are just business technic.
  
  2. Now a days, he seldom attend any functions and he is trying to keep away from the public. He started doing that after Padayappa release. It become worst after Neyvelli protest. He might have realised exact picture of cine friends after Cauvery issue. For fans, he also seldom mix unlike 10 years before which is really unhealthy. He always convey message through Sathyanarayana. I don't know much it is going to transform his fans this way.
  
  Only one thing good for sure is that Rajini will definately support P.Chidambaram and his son in the coming election. It all depend on how other parties merging during the election. Of course Rajini will not go against Karunanithi as he respect him. There is a chance whereby Rajini will assist in forming coaltion party comparising of DMK, P.Chidambaram and Congress. If PMK (Tree feller Party)join DMK, then Rajini may not involve.

  We have to look beyond actors and caste leaders like Ramdoss, Thirumavalan and so.

  are looking to step on you. Thats why I'm concentrating on Cine actors. Moreover as far as I know
  the educated, at least as our level, No body is backing the caste leaders but most of us are backing

  rajini fans opposed you because they thought you are harsh on Rajini on everything. If you would have indicated good qualities of him also then they would have agree with you regarding this.

  And of course I totally agree with what Joe has to say about what Rajini suppose to do in the future. But I would recommend Mr. P. chidambaram to have some backbone because he lately does not look like that.   Even though i am one of the Rajini fan group moderator, i don't think i can tell Rajini fans to stop bashing in this forum. There are only few guys doing that and i have conversed with them through email. They have different reasons. They just blame the Kamal fans who are bashing Rajini, so they attack Kamal. ???
  
  Anyway, i have noticed alot of people from this forum had joined Rajinidotcom and there the discussions are healthy. definately no bashing of Kamal there!

  RAJINI is a TOTAL hypcorite. When he wanted to promote BABA, in T.N he kept quiet when asked to comment on veerappan, but called him a rakshasha,when he went to bangalore.
  
  For him religion is like fashion. First, it was raghavendra, then arunachaleswara & now baba.
  
  He is a total womaniser in real life, but potrays himself as a very devout main in public.

  Has he spent 1 paisa on charitable acts? (do not tell me that he does it privately - he does not want publicity).
  
  He says that he has come up because of tamils, but it is only lip sympathy. He has done nothing for the tamils.
  
  He had announced that he will conduct "free marriages" every year. What happened?
  
  He produced a film "valli" & gave all the money collected to his kannadiga friends.
  
  It is only in Tamilnadu that a rank outsider can become a mass figure (egs: MGR - malayali, rajini-kanndiga). Tamilians should be ashamed that rajini has been a superstar here., what a shame?
  
  Today, after BABA's debacle, he is NOT the superstar anymore. It is high time he retired from films.
  
  As for kamal bashing by rajini fans, they have been doing it for many years because they are jealous that kamal is a 1000 times better actor than rajini.
  
  let us not waste any more time talking about rajini & his fans. they are total MORONS.
