I read from a website that the following actors are paid the following money.

Super* =40 corers =Rs 400,000,000 = £6,000,000

Kamal =7 Corers = RS 70,000,000 = £1,000,000

Vijaykanth =6 Corers = Rs 60,000,000 =£800,000 (I can not imagine this idiot being so much!!!)

Just look @ their salary, look@ how much money is being poured into film/media, don't people realise if these money is invested in education, health, transport, poverty, defence, etc, India or atleast Tamil Nadu will be a respectable healthy clean environment to live in? I know super* donates 3/4 of his salary to the poor, charities, trustees, etc, Vijayakanth also does this, but actors like VJ, ajith, Madhavan are also charging in crores, why don't these people give more to the poor, build their country, even the top scientist or surgeon, or nuclear scientists is not paid this much, Media has a huge impact on the state of the country, but how many of them are helping the poor or building their country? Wake up people, most of the actors (except Super*, VK) are purely there to earn money for their selfish reasons, but we are encouraging them, but why?

  Grow up!! what do you mean by "purely there to earn money for their selfish reasons" They are doing a job and the producers are willing to pay. Anyway that sum is exaggerated. 6 million pounds is not even the budget of Tamil movies so how can that be an actor"s pay? 1 million pounds might be more possible

  well up to them what they do with their hard earn money as long as they don't create anything illegal out of it. If the give money to charities , that is something good . in a 1 billion population.. there are more poor people than rich people in india .. hope it benefits the people who are poor

  Something is better than something...I appreciate not only actors ,everybody who realise we have a part in the soceity,so help other.Helping mentality is must for everybody.But each and every body has their vision ,having their own way and methodology to help others..Giving money is not only the charity..People have more money can spent some to help others..some people may share their knowledge instead of money..some people may educate somebody..some people may help others to keep peaceful soecity...Some people may just make illitrate people aware of their rights and facilities available in the soecity...Some people may give their suggessions to carrier developement of others...a lot more
  
  As for as Actors is concerned...in my openion,though I appreciate actors whoever doing charities with money..can make his fans more responsible for their own families and commitments instead of making slogans like "Unakkaga raththam sintha koottam undu".."Un viral asainthaal ....", "Ilaingar padai irukku unakku pugal paada..." ,"Nee thaan uyir..naan thaan periya paruppu".... The biggest charity a actor can do is educate his fans not as a bilnd followers,not encourgaing his fans to spent his energy and money on him,enjoy the acting ,appreciate,not worship the actor...on the whole encourage only fans not foolish blind brain washed worshippers

  of India the choice is yours should you spend your money to help some

  In addition , rajani and some others did in small scale to public . I wonder M.G.R did 4 population. He did as politician. But did he use his private eanings 4 people ?
