TAMIL MOVIES ARE NORMALLY FULL OF CRAPS.WELL THERE ARE SOME GOOD MOVIES FROM 1990-2000..

  (Any notion comedy movies are not good movies?).

  There is a movie called terrorist by Santosh Shivan. Is he talking about that?
  I would list almost all Kamal movie esp. Guna, most of Maniratnam movies (except the dud Uyire), the most of Shankar (except Kadhalan), some of Manivannan directed movie (remember he used to be a good director eg. Amaithi Padai, Vetripathakam, Vazhkai Chakkaram), some of Balachander, and even Rajini, yes, Super star's Muthu, Badsha, Annamalai, Mannan, and Veera for their strong entertainment quality.   If you look at those 11 years, which each high quality movie listed year-by-year, here are the award winners:
  
  1. Kamal Haasan - 4 times
  2. Mani Ratnam - 3 times
  3. Shankar - 1 time
  3. Rajini Kanth - 1 time
  4. Vikram - 1 time
  5. Vijay - 1 time
  
  Total 11 awards (from 1990 to 2001) the above is the split of the awards, fair enough. It also goes to show how Kamal Haasan & Mani Ratnam dominate the Tamil indusrty when it comes to making high qulaity, international class movies!
