In my opinion, Vijay kumar replace Amithab Bachan, his wife Manjula replace Jaya badhuri Bachan, Ajit replace Shah Rukh, Simran replace Kajol, Shyam or Madhavan replace Hritik and Laila or Sneha replace Kareena.
are u all have any other opinion?

I think if they decide to the remake version than you need quality in the acting and huge buget
AB role either Raghuvaran or Rajnikanth(let him play a role of his own age for a change)
JB : Radhika can act with both of the above and is suitable to both
SRK: Vikram acting is quality
HR: Shaam, young new vibrant actor can learn a great deal.
Kajol: We need an actress with the same essence, appeal and ability probably Simran
Kareena: Who is the new girl on the block and who is popular , Sneha

With Manjula in the role and her husband Vijaykumar by her side, the movie would be better taken in a brothel.

"AB role either Raghuvaran or Rajnikanth(let him play a role of his own age for a change)"
Pathima, do you mind giving me the name of one Tamil hero who plays his age? How come you guys keep mum when all top heroes including Kamal Haasan prance around with heroines in early 20s and turn "realistic" when Rajnikant does the same? In an industry where mediocrity thrives, where actors have a longer shelf life, heroes are bound to go a longer way than heroines. This has been the same even with Hollywood, cited by many as the touchstone to cinematic excellence. Almost every top hero there, from De Niro to Pacino to Nicholson to Schwarzenegger to Hanks to Gibson to Willis, are in their 50's or late 40's. If at 48, Kamal Haasan can romance Jyotika and Simran, why should a 52-year-old Rajnikant fall behind? Make classics and make the worst stand out, that's fine. But you can't distinguish rut from rut and say that's rut. 'Coz it's all the same old sh**.

Argun fair comment but if you look at the Hollywood films take for example Al Pacino in the sea of love , he portrayed a police cop with personal problems, his character reflected his age. His co star wasn't 20 but she definately over 30 realistically she was his age group or closer.
Schwazeneggar hasn't been on the screen for sometime and when he has I don't think his heroine was under 30.
Realisitically Hollywood actors tend to play their age, you will always know the character age by the way they talk and dress. Take Brad Pitt, young , vibrant actor, he doesn't do college roles they give that Matt Damon or new person on the block.
I am afraid I cannot class Schwarzeneggar, as top hero perhaps he once had a larger share of the pie but now I don't think so , the others I wouldn't class them as heros but talented actors.
if AB can act his age why can't Rajni or Kamal for that matter but for this role I have chosen Rajni becos his past performances have always duplicated AB films and comedy and this role has a lot of clout which I believe can only be carried off by Rajni

Didn't a 50-plus De Niro had a young thing in love with him in "Heat"? Did that take anything off the class of that movie? Didn't Michael Douglas, who used to be a bosom pal of Gwyneth Paltrow's father's, later played her husband in "A Perfect Murder"? Yeah, agreed that they don't run around trees in flashy costumes with young girls faking orgasm on screen. But, neither do their younger heroes. So the situation here is wherein young actors get to do the song n' dance routine, get old and continue with the routine. There, young actors play heroes, of course with their share of offbeat projects, get old and continue to do that. An almost obese, 50-plus Vijayakant being chased by pretty young bimbettes is repulsive, when pitted against a 50-plus Jack Nicholson who, with amazing dignity, carries off a love tale with a half-his-age Helen Hunt in "As Good As It Gets". But then, the equation remains the same when you pit an Ajit who, with delusions of grandeur, speak about the clout he has among "padikkaatha makkal"(pray!), against a Johnny Depp who moves in and out of "Edward Scissorhands" and "Don Juan de Marco" with ease and class. I hope you get my drift. About Rajnikant not following the footsteps of Bachchan, the reason is simple enough. Bachchan can afford to sport grey hair 'coz his days as a full-fledged hero are over. Compare that to this situation. Barely a month after the announcement of "Baba", there are innumerable discussion forums on the Net for the movie. Local magazines mint money by showcasing titbits about the movie in their covers. And I've seen at least 10 auto-rickshaws in Chennai, recently rechristened as "Baba". So there.

Huh? What's your problem, actually? When I'm in a discussion forum, it's up to my own discretion to whether I should react or not to anything. And I, personally, felt that discussing a possibly never-going-to-happen remake wasn't my cup of tea. I have better things to do with my life, thank you very much. If you have time and effort to spare for it, so be it. But it would be nonsensical on my part to term you hot or cold air just b'coz you are game or not for discussing some fantastical movie. And it's not my style to say "whatever" when I don't have constructive retorts during discussions. Thanks and Regards.

Arjun yes this thread addresses an is hypothetical question/situation and it invites views and comments.I don't expect everyone with me and it's nice to be challenged.
But I think it is inappropriate that you have made some comments on my decision but yet cannot no sorry don't have time to waste on giving your justifications purely that you lack the interest. Yes it is your choice that you choose not to agree with me comments and not allowing for a suitable explanation apart from "it's not my cup" tea sounds like a real cop out.
I was of the opinion that if make comments on someone's personal preference then your reasons should incorporate an alternative not purely a criticism. It seems you merely like to criticize and are unable to give suitable alternative. Hence my saying hot air no steam

"It seems you merely like to criticize and are unable to give suitable alternative. "
Hello, get this straight. My "challenge" was not on your choice of Rajnikant as a replacement of Bachchan in "K3G". My challenge was on your contention that Rajnikant never plays his age. And when I came up with up with examples holding my case good. you ducked saying "yeah whatever". So there.

Even if u put the best cast from Tamil film into the remake of K3G, they would not be able to pull a hit like the original film.
K3G is meant for Big B, Jaya, SRK, Kajol, Hrithik and Kareena (maybe Kareena could be changed). They played their parts so well that we see the characters as them. They had blended with the film and it has made a major impact. I don't think I can anyone else doing the film.
And if it is taken in the south, they will not be able to match the extravagant sets, and the movie will be mutilated out of proportion.
