M.Night Shayamalan to be sued.

The indian director of The sixth sence is reported to have copied the idea of his latest movie The Village from a childreen's book.
God i hope it is not true, this will spoil the name of indians.

I've read the book and there are too many similarities. Including the Resting Rock.

Thats crap! his ideas are to creative to have him running to childrens books for more ideas on movies. There is no way he went from an idea like the sixth sense to copying from childrens books

He COPIED! The book is the same as the movie.
What really sealed the deal for me was reading his script for the VIllage which incorporates many many more elements from the book. Way too many to be a coincidence.
Plus the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the reason there are monsters in the film is becasue Shyamalan stole that from Lord of the Barrens (ie the first lawsuit over the movie Signs).
he got caught... R E D handed.
