I just watched Panjathanthiram..It is full time comedy which is better than tenali and pammal..A great response from the audience..

Kamal,Yoogi sethu,Ramyakrishnan did very well.

I can understand some other guy started a tread saying ill about this..I understand his good intension.

This is a pure entertainment..Kamal looks great in this movie and K.S.Ravikumar done well again with Grazy mohan..A sure HIT

  The movie a well crafted family entertainer.The Kamal - Ravikumar - Crazy Mohan trio has woked it's magic again.Except for the intial part for the film which has a contrived 'hijack' scene, the entire movie is a laugh-riot.No part of the movie is dragging.Much better than Thenali and PKS but not as good as Michael Madana Kama Rajan.MMKR minus it's irritating climax is in my opinion one of the alltime great comedy movies.
  
  
  The guys

  Kamal looks fantastic for his age.For an actor who has done movies like Nayagan and Guna, this role is a piece of cake.Jayaram has a natural flair for comedy and sparkles in short cameo role.I hope tamil cinema will see more of this gifted actor. Yuhi Sethu has doen a neat job. Ramesh Arvind and the guy who plays the iyer have done decent jobs as well. Nagesh is terrific.He is very natural.
  Manivannan and Ramesh Khanna have been wasted.
  
  
  The gals
  ------------
  Simran's role doesnt give her too much scope to act. She just flits thro' like the butterfly. Ramya krishnan steals the show whenever she appears. She is very sexy in the Bhajan Bhajan song.
  The other ladies have given decent performances.
  
  Deva disappoints with his music. The songs and the tunes are very forgettable. The Kaadhal Bhajan song and Yaaru Yaaru songs are average.

  good Comedy film... Panchathanthiram.
  
  Generally family can watch comedy films.
  But here some sceens are hard to digest.
  In addition it does not make much laugh like PKS.
  
  In fact we have already seen telling lot of lies to hide such things.
