Many eagerly awaited movies usually end up with a damp squib at the box-office. (Hey RAM). Will Aalavandan live up to its hype?. We can get answer on September 21 (or 28)

  Yes Aalavandan will surely be a Hit Film.
  Hey-Ram was also a Good film. Music composed by
  Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is good. They performed well in the Hindi fim 'Dil Chata Hai'. Hope this film is ready for long run.

  Nah! It won't. It will in the south but Abhay somehow doesn't seem to be gathering interest among those in the north and even the music doesn't seem to be selling well in north. So, probably not a hit in north though the story may be great, still... north indians would still anyday prefer the khans or hrithik and all other bollywood ppl to kamal like in south vice versa.

  I saw the movie today at a special screening and the movie was ok. The problem is that one expects a lot from Kamal's movie. The bald kamal (Nandhu) was excellent.
  
  Plus factors
  
  Kamal's acting (Nandu).
  Technically the film is excellent.
  Graphics to a certain extent.
  
  Minus factors
  A scene where bald kamal jumps from a hotel to another building, he will land on top of a big baloon. During that jumping scene, the graphics looked amatuerish.
  
  But the people in the auditorium said that the movie will do well becoz it had lot of masala to it.
  
  Being a kamal fan i hope the movie does well. Anyway if you are a kamal fan you should miss this movie just for the bald kamal's acting.
  
  But hey today I saw Paartale Paravasm too and that movie is not too good either.
