Another actress, another tragic suicide - seems like it's just another day in 'paradise'. Monal is the kid sister of Simran. She started her career in 2001 but it was a tough climb for Monal unlike her sister. With only 5 movies - Paarvai Onre Podhumey, Badri, Lovely & Charlie Chaplin under her belt it was much hoped that this potential actress too makes it big in the industry. Her motive to have committed suicide is still unknown. Ironically in her last movie Charlie Chaplin, Monal commits suicide; too bad she took her role too serious in real life too.

  Really sad end to her life!
  Whatever be the situation, suicide is the resort for the meek and scared ones.
  We shoudl learn to face life with courage.
  If we remain detached from materialistic pleasures and remain emotionally independent of the opposite sex,am sure things will be better for us.
  To think of her hanging, is treacherous. Am sure even she would have wanted to stop the process when she way into it, hanging process I mean, but it must have been way too late.

  we are now living in the 21st century. the coroner who inspected monal said she was pregnant (is this true or a hoax?). but if she was pregnant would it have mattered. are there no single parents in india. i dont know a single person with kid/s who is married.

  And Unmai, the Real Truth is that Simran is now officially her cousin sister. She had problems with her family from a young age so her mother's sister adopted her and took care of her through the teen years.(Froma newspaper article I read)
  
  I also agree that we shouldn't criticise the dead and that people should only post positive comments, becuase obviously some people are taking things too seriously

  Excuse me when hitler dies its good...when people like monal die it is a tragedy. She may have been a bitch like all the other actresses taunting the men in the audience with flesh so that they can become a famous Kannavu kanni...but who knows what difficulties she faced. Maybe someone cheated her or got her naked pics and blackmailed her. We know this happens in the industry. reminds me of silk simitha.
