Vijay is a fluke actor. His movies run not because of any talent of his, but due to other reasons liek siongs, costars, screenplay etc.,

Also, he has the backing of his director-father.

  Every movie runs because of fluke, not just vijay's movies. What is meant by good movie & bad movie?. One person may like it & another person might not. Its all finally comes to how many people liked the movie & how many doesn't. Even kamal acted superb performance in movies like Guna, Aalavandan can't succeed in box office. Vikram acted in a movie called pithamagan, some people even praised what an act & direction by bala. I Couldnt able to watch that movie more than 10 mins. Some people might disagree. so never judge anyone as bad. if you like it watch it & if you dont then do not watch it or comment it badly.

  No matter what, Vijay is just useless, somehow made some fans when other useless fellows like Ajith and Prsanth were only there, through all those crappy love stories, and now he calls himself the Superstar, the mass hero etc etc....Thank God, Vikram and Surya came to chuck all these idiots out...

  Backing up can give anyone only a *head-start* and one cant go as far as vijay or surya have gone today unless they have some talents.
  
  KH and RK time is almost ending now as you could see they are OLD now. This is just like the years 1974-1977 in Tamil cinema where MGR and Shivaji's careers ending and all the movies those acted by these mega stars were not doing good because of AGE. In late 70s RK and KH moveis were appreciated by the people more than MGR and Shivaj because KH and RK were YOUNG and showed some new talents at that time.
  
  Now RK and KH phase is ENDING and youngsters like Vijay has a great future. Vijay has already secured a place in Tamil Cinema and he has good # of fans. I think he has a great future in Tamil Cinema.

  relax. I have not questioned his success. I have only said that he is a fluke. Additional qualification is that he has the backing of his director-father.

  MGR and Sivaji's period was different compared with this Period. MGR voluntarily retired from cinefield. Sivaji's famous movies were released before 70's only. After 70's he got tired. His Movies after 70's were ordinary movies.
  
  Now Rajini's era only is over.
  
  But Kamal Era is Never ending story unless he retire himself.

  A P Nagarajan lost everything including his life he had because of the biggest flop of maduraiyai mItta Sundarapandian.

  A smaal correction. Virumandi in its tamil version was released last friday 17.09 in about 11 theatres in hyd. & sec. But today i.e 24.09, it is running in only 2 theatres. It was initially thot to a hit, but figures indicate otherwise.

  some corrections. APN's last movie was Navarthinam (with MGR) which was a flop. Asokan acted in many movies (after netru..) & died only after a few years.
  Neethikku thlaivanagu, pallandu vazhga were hits. Neerum neruppum was a movie which was released much earlier.
  
  Maduraya meeta... was MGR's last film which was a flop as was oorukku uzhaippavan.
