I STRONGLY FEEL SO B'COZ MOST OF THEM ARE INTERESTED ONLY IN BUILDING UP THEIR IMAGE.WHY CAN'T WE MAKE MULTI STARRER FILMS LIKE K3G,KAKKEE {MOST BOLLYWOOD FILMS}.THIS IS SO AS TAMIL ACTORS ARE NOT READY TO WORK.WHY OUR STARS R NOT INTERESTED IN DOING FULL FLEDGE NEGTIVE ROLES LIKE
SRK [DARR,ANJAM],AJAY[KAKEE],AKSHAY[AJNABEE]ETC.
THEY R NOT EVEN READY TO SP.APPEARECES.IAM NOT A BOLLYWOOD FUNDAMENDALIST,BUT FRIENDS TELL ME YOUR VIEWS ON THIS.

  I have also felt the same. Rajni and kamal is acceptable. But even the young heroes dont do this. We should appreciate Bollywood in this. One more ex is Aaamir Khan, saif and akshay khana in DCH (dil chahta hai), shahrukh and saif (kal ho naa ho).. u can name lot of movies.

  Kamal and Rajinikanth did like 12 fims together early on - in their career - in the 70s.
  
  There were some good fims like 'Ilamai UnjalAdukiRathu' and 'avarkaL' and some great films like 'avaL appadiththAn' and 'pathinARu vayathinilE'.
  
  Infact kamalhassan acted in a completely unknown role in Rajini's 'ThapputhAlangaL'.
  
  Not many ppl might know about it; saritha plays a prostitute who falls in love with Rajinikanth - who plays a thief. Kamal acted as a obese, rotund-figured north-indian 'seth' - who is a customer to saritha. He comes in just 2 scenes if i remember right.
  
  Nowadays - the current crop of heroes dont have the tolerance and patience to do 2 lead-role movies.
  
  Vijay did a movie with ajith and 2 with surya.
  
  Apart from that i cant remember any other instances of 2-lead men movies.
  
  Kollywood should find proper stories to have 2 or even 3 lead-star movies; probably they can make action movies a la Hollywood and fit in 2-3 guys to do major roles.

  kamal & rajini acted togther only when they were "uppuma heroes". Once they became famous, they have not done a film together.The present day heroes are a lot better
