  Its tragic news.I am shocked.At one time he was said to be the highest income tax payer in Chennai.Its truly sad when financial difficulties(if Tmes of India is right)make one to end their life.A great loss to the film fraternity.
  
  PS Nandu GV is Maniratnams brother and one of the biggest film producers of his time.Read some of K Balachanders interview and it will tell how KB and GV use to ride in their bicycles around Chennai to keep track of box office takings in the 60s.A story of success wasted by unnatural means.

  all coz of that assh*le called Michael Jackson.GV was the one who took the contract of arranging a MJ concert in chennai,mumbai. but,unfortunately that assho*e jackson cancelled the concert jus like that and that was a hugee financial loss for GV.after that he stopped producing films .but,last year he produced 3 movies--all 3 flopped badly.

  G. Venkadeswaran (G.V) was a well known Tamil film producer. And he is the brother of Director Mani Ratnam. GV's Sujatha Film International Pvt. Ltd. has produced lot of super hit films like Mouna Ragam, Agni Nakshatram, Anjali, Thalapathy...etc.
  Recently he produecd three films. For that he got finance asistance from Sasikala's binami (Sasikala is Jayalalitha's vudanbiravaa sagothari, thozhi). Unfortunately all the three films are floped. So he could not be able to pay the money in time to the Sasikala's binami (Kanthu vaddikkaaran). And hence he got life threaddening telephone calls from that Kanthu vaddi fello. And that forced Mr.GV to commit sucide. Now this case was closed by our famous TN Police because of Jaya and Sasi.

  Vijayakanth is responsible for GV's death. In fact, at the time of his death, his wife & daughter were "guarding" their house at kodaikanal so that it does not fall into the hands of kandhu vaddi fellows. These kandhu vaddi fellows (henchmen of vijayakanth) killed him & made it look like suicide.
