How come no one is talking about the new maniratnam movie..

In tamil movie, his movies are the most sensible and well taken movies..he is not great but compared to the other tamil directors who produce the same garbage (boy meet girl-boy fall in love--but alsas there is some problem obstructing their love--there are song sequence which has nothing to do with the movie--and silly kiddish fight scenes out of nowhere).

I don't really like songs in movies but atleast mani takes it well..and fits in the movie

  first of all,who told u mani is not all that great.lets fight about it sometime later.
  have u heard the songs in the movie,if not
  www.raaga.com is the place for u.the songs are

  I heard the songs and i like it..I think mani asked for songs to go with the movie..that is why there is no commercial-style dance music in this album..mani also wanted the lyrics to stand out and u can see the album is not overproduced like some other a.r rahman...
  
  Well..I mean mani is great compared to many tamil and bollywood director but he does have his flaws..For example in iruvar (i loved the movie) but mani's screenplay kinda fell down the whole near the end..Especially with Aiswaraya character..I think mani did not know what to do with the character at the end so she just disappears..But still Iruvar is hell a lot better than many of the tamil films outhere..
  
  I also get the impression that mani is one of the very few directors that storyboard their films prior to filming..This is done in almost every Hollywood film but not done in indian commercial films..Storyboard u know what is gonna be in the the scene , and helps when it goes to the editing room..

  Are you talking about Tamil film or Hindi film. Get your facts right. Not all Tamil film have this storyline.
