As Karnataka stars have arranged the procession on Cauvery issue, there would be lot of cry for not arranging similiar procession. Though I believe that these processions are none of the actors business, I strongly believe that as long as the tamil films would be released in Karnataka, these tamil actors would never dare to talk against Karnataka interest. If Kannada films runs successfully in TN, these Kannada Stars would have arranged the procession.

What do you think??

  There is nothing wrong in Ramesh Aravind to support Karanataka's interest. Since he is acting in Tamil films you can not expect him not to support his motherland. Even if you are working in US or any other foriegn country, you will support only India if there is an issue between India and that country.
  
  I would appreciate if rajini, Murali, Prakashraj, Prabudeva.. and other karantaka stars. If they support TN it's just a hypocrisy

  The stupid Ramesh Aravind is from Kumbakonam, TamilNadu. That guys parents settled in Bangalore. This is the fate of Tamilnadu. But I dont think that so called "our" cinestars has to arrange simillar procession. Because acting is there WORK. Do we expect our doctors ,Engineers,lawyers and other professionals to arrange simillar procession. No need for that. What we can do is as director cheran said in a interivew, the TAMILIANS as a whole has to show our protest and oppose those stupid Kanadigas from all our part of life. But it is a shame and pity that we are not able to share our countries wealth among the states. Shame on us.

  Karnataka's Chief minister and Government have stopped all their work and they are thinking and planning how to stop Water to Tamilnadu. Everydat there is a bandh. What will happen if blood is locked somewhere in the body.

  The only solution is Military Rule should be implied in India like china. All the political parties should be banned. All the rivers should be nationalised. Democracy has failed miserably. People should be punished for Crime.

  Your idea of military rule might have worked if Subha Chandra Bose had been India's first Prime Minister.It is too late now to turn back.India needs to work with the current model but with more private investments and proper governance.However India will only change if its people change.People need to change their mindset and concentrate on vital issues like economic prosperity and decent education.The government needs to provide this.
  In Tamilnadu's case, there needs to a change in leadership.There is not a single leader at the moment who can bring a consensus of opinion and command the respect of all parties.It is a sad situation but can be rectified with the passing of time.There are too many parties based on caste affiliations.Tamilians from India seem to be very caste conscious and divided.Some of the postings in the Forumhub are testimony to it.I sincerely hope that the Tamilians living overseas with capital do return home to change the situation for the better.

  Why should TN depend on Karnataka for water? We know for years that Karnataka will not give water.
  So why not implement schemes to construct dams, lakes to store rain water or surplus cauvery water and also tap ground water resources? Instead of actors, directors and others coming up with statements, it would be better if they can come up with new ideas! We can ask someone for help. If they don't want to, we have to try to solve it using other methods.
  
  I doubt this cauvery issue will ever be settled amicably. I think politicians on both sides will keep it alive for publicity.
  
  The attitude of the Kannadigas is strange. When somebody is asking you for help, you try to do as much as you can. If not, you just keep quiet. Usually protests are done to get aid or help. Karnataka however is staging protests against helping!
  
  I don't understand why people expect Rajinikanth and other Kannadiga actors to issue statements. As if Karnataka will immediately start releasing water? If they support/issue statements against TN getting help (like Ramesh Arvind did?) then it is wrong. It is better that they stay out of it.
  
  Wherever one works, one's first loyalty is always towards their home town/country. Someone may work in Madras, but he will try to invest (like building house) in his hometown first. So many Indians live in foreign countries. Even after many years, their first love is always for India.

  I think the Tamil Film star procession is like a political stunt. The ultimate necessity of this minute is to get the water for our Tanjore farmers. But instead of talking that, Mr. Bharathiraja is talking about other issues like "Tamil Thai", participation of Rajini etc. They should ask for water, not to stop supplying current to Karnataka. Obivously everybody knows that current cannot be stopped to Karnataka. But still they want to shout for it. Before 2 or 3 weeks itself, director Mr. Cheran with the support of college students has started protest against Karnataka Govt. But at that time none of his colleagues has given any support to him. But now everybody is talking about it. They r doing this now because it has become an ego problem for them here in Tamilnadu. They want to show that they can also stage some rallies in Tamilnadu, like their counterparts in Karnataka. They are acting like a tuned politicians. So, if they really want to do some good for tamil people, they can support CM and can ask PM to pressurise Karnataka govt to relaease the water. Pls dont use race and origin to settle some personal vengence against some individuals who are shining in tamil film industry. Dont bother what Karnataka people think or do. Let us try to be good Indians to maintain our country harmony and unity.
