  Heard the movie and the songs are cheap imitations of their originals. Saw from somebody's posting that the movie is badly made.

  We will need to understand that the "D" rating is only for the movie and the way it was taken.
  
  You should remember the melodious songs like "thirakkatha Kaatrukkulle" and "En Swasa Kaatre". They are too good. I wouldn't blame ARR for it. Remember the good songs in "Love Birds" and how the film failed inspite of ARR's good piece of work.

  Good songs in "Love Birds"? Are you serious? As far as I know, I remember only one good song from "Love Birds" - 'malargaLae... malargaLae'. Another one 'naaLai ulagam', though not very good, was not very bad either. I don't know if there are any other good songs in "Love Birds". If so, please let me know.

  I just watched the movie last saturday and i wud say it is not a great nor a masala. The story move abit slow but like the approach made by A>SAMY slightly differ from normal tamil movies and the heroine is just gorgeous. Songs well pisturised. Coustumes were good n elegant for I.GOPIKAR. Acting wise Prakash Raj and Raguvaran both were simply superb. U can watch for both of them.
  
  I loved all the songs. they were better then listening on the cds. (I didn't like the songs when I first heard in Audio CDs.
  
  Just good for to pass ur time.

  IMO, Isha's performance was better than AS. In fact, the only noteworthy performance was Isha's (Prakash Raj and Raghuvaran were also good). AS, as expected, was below par. I can't what Mr.ADUPPU SAMY means by the following two (contradicting or was it meant as a joke?) statements :

IMO, Isha is a very good actress and a promising one (nadikka therindha nadigai!!!) among all the Rambhas, Rojas, etc. If you don't like her acting, write so.   Why should you take objection to this statement? After all Kavundamani is the greatest living artiste in TF and it would be an honur to IG to be paired with him. Of course, u r right if u feel offended by the mention of Vadivel.

  IG's acting is infinite times better than Simran. Even going lookwise, Isha's simple looks are much better than Simran with all her lousy costumes. Simran is no.1 in TF as of now (going by her demand). She belongs to the category of Roja, Meena, Rambha. Whereas Isha comes in the line of Revathy, Radhika, etc. So, comparing these two will be like comparing apples and oranges.

  You are joking, aren't you? Goundamani is a much better actor than Vadivel, Janakaraj, et al. He may be the best comedy actor in TF for the last 2 decades. But, that doesn't mean he can handle all roles. He is a good comedian - not a hero (his attempt to become a comedy hero also failed badly).

  Overall the movie wasn't that great. The only two things Id probably say that watching the movie are worth for are ... the Songs and Isha Gopikar. And for Arvind Swamy....I don't think he should have danced for the songs that didnt even need any dancing. Plus, the copy of the stunt scene from MIssion Impossible was almost pathetic. Im sorry to say. Id give the movie a 6 for its wonderful music and its beautiful actress.

  Hey I saw this movie and you are so correct - Arvind Swampy does this Tom Cruise stunt from Mission Impossible and it wasn't even needed in the movie. The songs were probably the best part - but the weirdest thing is how they have these songs at some of the most awkard moments - like when they were running away from the police and stuff. The whole movie was stupid - especially the ending - the whole gun exchange thing gave me a big laugh. The only reason I wanted to watch the movie is because I think that Arvind Swampy is the best looking Tamil actor.
