Is Rajini so powerful to make the mastero lose all the movies? If Raji was the main cause of it, was it fair to Ilayaraja or to Rajini's own spiritualism?

  Raaja is doing about 15 films now.
  He is in a comeback trail.

  Everyone thought Ilayaraja will once again rise after the release of 'Kaathalukku Mariyaathai'. But what happened? Not as expected.
  
  I remember reading from one of the Indian leading magazines in an interview given by Raja that what he had given earlier were all just supporting dishes and he hasn't given us the 'main meal' yet. This, I think I read some 6 - 7 years ago or more. What is he doing till to today?
  
  We do not expect the 'main meal' from him. At least he could give us the type of melodies he gave us in the 80's & 90's.
  
  I agree with Neethi Devan that every one is accountable for his/her own uprise or downfall. But I believe that Rajini played a big role in causing to gather all the anti-Raja support to boycott him after the arrival of the then new MD, AR Rahman. I believe Rajini wouldn't dared to do that if AR Rahman was not there then.
  
  Another main reason for Ilayaraja's declining fame is his daughter, Bavatharini I believe. At one time S. Janaki was one of the main singers for Ilayaraja. Now, it's only Bavatharini. Just compare Bavatharini with S. Janaki.
  
  I strongly believe Ilayaraja should not focus on his daughter at this moment. He's already drowning & he wants to pull to the shore a dead body.
