  Pammal.K.Sambandam is a Kamalhassan’s out and out comedy film directed by Mouli. In the film Kamal is a stuntman or a double for action heroes in films. Simran is his lover, a doctor who marries him towards interval. On a parallel line there is a budding romance between Abbas and Sneha and for some reason Simran is jealous about it. She asks Kamal to break that romance at all cost. Kamal is said to have some kind of control over women’s mind. How Kamal creates a rift between the couple leads to hilarious situation and is the one-line story of the film.
  
  Pammal.K.Sambandam is rumoured to be based on Mel Gibson’s What Women Want where the hero knows the mind of the female characters and even hears their thoughts. The film is being produced by Media Dreams and has music by Deva. P.L.Thenappan, the producer of Tenali is the executive producer. Crazy Mohan has written the story, which is going to be a comedy caper. The film is due for Pongal 2002 release.

  Pongal 2002 ?!?!?!!!! Never. Kamal will think of all the possible ways for making the film dragging and thus will delay the release late.
  
  Tell me one Kamal movie after 'Vellivizha'/ 'Apprva Sahodarargal' (1989 )which got released on the announced date.
  
  As far as I remember the movies which did not release on the date announced are:
  Aalavandan, Tenali, Hey Ram, Kadala Kadala, Indian, Mahanadi, Mammavar, Devar Makan etc etc.
  One movie which probably released on date is Avvai Shanmukhi.

  hey guys !
  do u think this film will be a hit. Already Mr.Aalvandhan has disappointed us on the much-awaited film. One thing worth watching movies of his is that - the dedication and the way he changes himself to the character.
  
  Anyway, expecting this pongal release would compromise the prev one.
