Thunaivan, Thiruvilaiyadal,... real religious movies.Classically created god??(Good religious movies)
I believe in god. Do your duty. Love everyone. This is religion. Then why do we spend more money on where we give cheap definitions to god? Bring the divine in to moneymaking screens. God will come and knock your door and give everything! Work hard and serve for others. Don't get offended. I am not against the religion. I am totally annoyed with these increasing artificial "pakthi padankal".

  These "bakthi" movies make me sick...Alot people people in the villages belives what ever they show on screen.. I've seen some tamil movies and drams where if some1 getz chicken pox they call it mari aatha or some crap and don't take that person to the hospital... THey say if u treat him/her the god would get mad. I've seen a drama where this gal get chicken pox(she was adopted) the mother wants to take her to the doc but the bith mother sayd no..insted she runs off to a temple and fills up a clay bowl with somethign and light it and walk around the temple.. She come home with both her palm burned..She is not worried abt her burned palm she is worried that mari aatha is gonna get mad becaue the kid was treat by a DOC...THIS IS GAY...THESE PEOPLE ARE SENDING WRONG MESSAGE... PEOPLE IN REMOTE VILLAGE ARE GONNA BELIVE THIS AND NOT TREAT THEIR KIDS IF THEY GET SICK...THEY WOULD PROBABLY THINK THE GOD IS GONAN GET PISSED AT THEM..I THINK THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD BAN THESE TYPE OF MOVIESS.....

  We can't say that new bakti films have nothing. Old films like ADI PARASAKTI and THIRUVARUL are about the hindu mythology and miracles etc. Directors take new films to tell us simple themes through these films.EXAMPLE:IN PADAI VEETU AMMAN, THE DIRECTOR IS TRYING TO TELL US THAT GODDESS RENUKAMBAL WILL PUNISH ALL SINNERS AND PROTECT THE GOOD. EVEN THOUGH 90% OF THE MOVIE IS FANTASY,10% OF THE MOVIE IS TRUTH. SO, WE CAN'T JUST SAY THE MOVIES ARE BAD!
