On the Deepavali day during the release of Vijay's movie 'Thirumalai', there broke a fight between Vijay's fans, the issue being the placement of a banner of 'Thirumalai' where the Secretary of Vijay's Fans Association, Suresh was murdered.

After a week, Vijay flew to Madurai the day before yesterday, and from there proceeded to Kaaraikudi to meet Suresh's family members and gave them Rs.50,000 as a compensation, to express his concern for them. "This amount would have been nothing before your son's death, but…." -Vijay simply had no words to express the grief which had struck him.

Suresh's family, poured out their sorrow for almost half an hour to Vijay - "You have come all the way here, but Suresh is not alive to see you…."

Vijay returned, after enquiring about the reason for the murder of his ardent fan.

  I have heard alike complimentary stories on vijay too n i feel he is good too...even in his own personal live he has overcome alot of criticism n tragedies jus for e sake to produce a good act for his fans club n viewers....may God bless vijay in his current n future undertakings!I love u vijay!
