Okay people, Run has been released and cinesouth.com has given an excellent review...but is it really worth it?? Quite a few people have said it is a good movie and in India the theatre seems booked up (clicktickets.com). But i have read the story and it doesn't sound too appealing. Just another love story. My cousin went and saw it in Australia this weekend and she said it is not that good and a bit boring. But she did admit that she had big expectations with madhavan, lingusamy and etc so maybe that is why she was dissappointed. I have not seen it yet but just wanted to ask is it good or not???

  I dun know who your couz is, but I live in Australia too and I saw it on friday night and it was fabulous!
  
  There are no word to describe it, it was superb, the family themes, music and just Madhavn too

  This movie has fabuluos songs and all are picturiesed well. But movie is very slow and my opinion Madhavan looks very unnatural in the fight sequence, people even gigles on some fight scenes. The climax is very boring and ordinary.

  Run has some good songs, Vivek comedy is fine but for how many more years he is going to illtreat Chennai in the name of making comedy. Madhavan is a good match for love subject and he does very well naturally and fluently. But the horrible thing is unable to digest his stunt scenes especialy when he hit 10 men at a time without much experssion in his soft face. Lingusamy didn't give any buildup for both Hero and the Villian so nothing spark when both meet. The movie itself very slow and the climax is so so people RUN out of theater before the end. Hardly walking.
  
  People those who like madi, those who are in love, those who are presently chasing a girl in PTC busess/Etrain this movie will give an added flavour for them so they can watch, for others just relax and wait for AYNGARAN VCD release.

  story is ordinary, but it is the screenplay that is the plus point of the film. Viveks comedy is ok. Madhavan is terrific. Meera Jasmine is cute and has talent. The villain Atul Kulkarni who also acted in Hey Ram is ok in the villains role. I also liked Raghuvaran and Anu Haasan's role. On the whole it is the screenplay that has made this film enjoyable.
