Rajni is a way better actor than MGR, MGR was a womaniser, but Rjani is not. Rajni is an excellent human being (generous to the poor), MGR was not, then why in the 50-70 people worshiped MGR???please cast your votes, as to who is the best.

  Raghuvaran you are tredding on shaky grounds. Why just the 50s-70s people still worship MGR even film actors such as Sathyaraj and Bhargiraj(the one with the glasses). I have always been anti MGR ,my family reared me up that way. He was a pretentious fool who did absolutely nothing for people apart from gaining financially from them .
  
  Ragni well he is kind hearted soul, he gives time to his fans he is involved in various charity schemes. I hope if he decides to enter the political arena he will remain the ever green star that the Tamil people love.

  Pathima, yeah I agree with u, don't you find it sad when people actually fell in fire & killed them self, when MGR died, do these people have any brains???, they would not do that if their wives, childrens, husbands, brothers/ sisters, last but not least their PARENTS.

  I agree with you guys on MGR. But not with Rajini. He is tooa womanizer. Does any on know that till now he slleps with Srividya and Many others. Also you people why dont regonize that he helps only Kanada peoples and not Tamil guys. He gives statement when kanada guys get affected. (Rajkumar). But not when TAMIL industry is in deep trouple. If you peoples are ready, we can analyzize his so called "HELPING MENTALITY". Please understand that he helps a lot to Kanada peoples. He gives opurtinuties to them MOST. Not 100% but atleat 70%.   It would be inaccurate to say that MGR and Rajini cant act.Both are highly talented stars probably not as versatile as Sivaji and Kamal.Both MGR and Rajini at a later stage in their career accepted roles that fitted their image.In my view MGR's Adimai Penn and Ulagam Suttrum Valiban which he acted and directed are both fantastic movies.It has to be the same for Rajini's Thalapathi and Baatcha.
  Vijays acting in Friends was good.Vikram is very talented but still a long way to match the abilities of Sivaji and Kamal.He needs to do a fantastic comedy role and sustain his success for a considerable period to be compared in the same league as Sivaji,Kamal and Rajini.
