The 'puthiya tamizhagam' leader krishnaswami has said his party is going to work for banning the release of kamal's "CHANDIYAR".He has said that this film may trigger casteist feelings and will introduce the so called 'ARUVAL CULTURE' in tamil nadu.Friends do you all think it is so?

  When Kamal did 'Anbesivam' which dealt with Love,non-voilence where was this Krishnasamy?He now creates stories like Devar magan induced caste-riots.In that movie there is only one caste,infact it is a story of 'Pangaali chandai',not caste to caste chandai..I think this guy krishnasamy wants some media focus.This stupid never opposed so many Veecharuva movies even after it realeased..But without seeing movies,just by assumption,he is saying blah blah..who cares?

  It's sad that politicians get involved unnecessarily into good movies. Hope there won't be no barrier in future.

  Guys like Krishnasamy do not have better thing to do. so they are unnecessarily creating scene here by just saying like this as if he is saviour of the whole tamilnadu. I think people did same thing against Hey Ram also saying that it is against Gandhiji. The problem here is people did not understand the movie Hey Ram after they saw the movie also. How come one can expect stupids like Krishnasamy will understand the movie before seeing the movie itself. I am pretty sure that this guy will not understand the movie even after he sees the movie. It is wastage of time to discuss about useless guys like krishnasamy

  Dear friends,
  
  I can understand WHY Krishnaswamy tols whatt he did. I assume that most of you would not have watched the FULL video footage of the 'Chandiyar thuvakka vizha' in madurai.
  
  Everyone else stuck to either kamal or about his career or wishing success for 'chandiyar'. But when Bharathiraja came to the dias, he started talking about :
  
  'Kamal oru vallavan, veeran',
  
  'enga maduraiyila nannga veeranaithan anumathippOm',
  
  'enga vaadivaasalukku veerargalthaan madupidikka varamudiyum',
  
  'kamal chumma vellaiya irukkarunnu ninaikkatheenga, color-thaan appidi, mathapadi buthi ellam nammala mathirithaan'
  
  all his remarks, his tone was like he was 'projecting' Kamal as one among the 'Maravar & Mukkulathor' inam! I definitely felt that he was sounding like that.
  
  BR has always been emotional when he is on dais, i think no one should call him to speak anymore, coz all he does is create trouble.
  
  When on dais, like he did in NeyvEli, he goes overboard and emotional, which only sends out wrong signals.
  
  I KNOW that BR isn't a casteist, and to suggest that kamal hassan is one is a joke!
  
  But, the most important thing is that, even krishnasamy knows these truths. He's creating a ruckus becoz, he wants to send a clear message that emotional people like BR should know their social obligations while speaking on sensitive 'mEdai' like these and behave like a 'kalAignan', instead of some 'inamAna vEEran'!..
  
  So, if we have some one to blame it is BR and not krishnasamy. Kamal should avoid calling BR to any of his future film launches.

  When Dr. Ramadaas ill spoken about Rajini, you are the one who supported him. If other politician talk about Kamal, it is due to media focus. Same thing we said during Ramadaas talked about Rajini. God is great. HE gives examples to each abd every one to explain and feel!

  Don't make sweeping statements..Can you show me where I supported Ramdoss stupidity against Rajini?All I had against rajini was his initial stand in cavery issue .When he started 'Unnaviratham',I was the one started a thread supporting him..Don't be blind and assume everything yourself just because I am more kamal fan than rajini fan.

  Anyway, Rajini rivals (whom even seem to be friends at Singapore/Malaysia shows) celebrated when Ramdoss was hitting Rajini. No one knew at that time if it happens to SuperStar in no time and with less effort it could happen to any other actors. Now we are witnessing both Kamal and Vijay are pushed to react and issue statements.

  Do you any power to observe people from within them.On what basis,you made this sweeping statement.I don't think kamal ever has taken pride about his caste.This thread is just for discussions relating kamal's chandiyar and the controversy.If you have any opinion abt it post it ,else there is no compulsion to post something.
