There is a reason why kamal hasan is unpopular beyond his acting. He was a childhood star. Never had any social interactions with children of his age, never went to school with his peers and was always in adult company. He is a social misfit, again beyond movie circles. Can perform only in front of cameras or on stage. Never had to explain, or confront reality.
I pity him.
