Kamal in a different role no more comedy...thank god! He is a great actor and it has been a while since we saw him in a serious role.

  Ok Friends I will post the whole story
  I watched the movie first day. I liked the movie, but i hesitated to see the second time. Last week i wanted to see second time by seeing the ad in Newspaper. I went to the Rohini Theater in Koyambedu. While parking my bike i had doubt and asked the vechicle attender is Anbea Sivam running. He laughed and said it is already lifted. When i came out i noticed movies like Vijakanth's Sokkathangam and Vijay's Vassegara, Asai Asasai still running. The time was 6.30 PM and then i went to Vadapalani SSR Pangangam theater.(This is the first time i am going to that theater). I don't know where to park the vechicle i asked one person . The place where he showed had only two bikes.Mine was third.
  At that time i noticed a Family of 5 to 6 members. The family lady(their mother) is asking shall we go to this movie. One guy replied "Please leave me. I will fall in your feet. Blade Picture" and they were going straight. When i went inside the theater it was dark and when i got a seat i felt like almost i was alone in the theater Full empty seats. In the interval i noticed some 20 people in first class and 10 people in second class.
  When i enquired a relative near Arakkonam in B and C centers nobody bothers about Anbea Sivam. Even in Video shops in villages it is a failure. I really feel sorry for the status of Anbae Sivam losing to third rated SokkaThangam and Vaseegara and AsaiAsayai.
  In the article posted by Joe there is a line saying his wife is telling "please dont bring me to Kamal movies". This shows the family status
  Avvai Shanmugi,Thenali are good family entertainers

  The portal 'tamilcinema.com' is simply a nonsense,they don't understand anything about movie rating it seems.They have praised 'Anbe sivam 'so much(i agree it is a better film but the initial lines of the review are simply stupid).Then those guys go onto give their great opinion abt 'five star'(separately,in this film's review).People like want only 'karuthu sollum films,no new ideas ,no new style of film making nothing.
  For how much we are going to bash such message oriented movies?,world cinema tries diferrently, whether it is Our own maniratnam(kannathil),or adoor gopal(shadow kill) or david lynch(the explicit imagery film 'mulholland drive') are all breaking new grounds in the world cinema scenario and it is an obsolete concept that only 'karuthu sollum ' movies are good.

  I saw Anbe Sivam and twas a really good picture for various reasons. It made sense, there was no overacting and twas natural and didnt end with with the same nonsense of hero getting heroine. Kamal and Madhavan were really good. Kiran was good in her own way. Tamil masses should improve their taste and learn to appreciate good films and promote good films like these. Hindi movies of any sort are no comparison to any of our tamil movies. They are fit for copying and spoiling the essence with which the tamil films are made.
