God save Tamil film fans who derive sadistic pleasure in the flop of a movie. It is not just the lead actor (against whom such threads are opened) who gets affected by a flop, but thousands of workers for whom film field is providing employment. We should remember them before opening such stupid threads. Discussing the merits of a film and saying that "Vaseegara is a badly made film" is OK.. But deriving happiness from the flop of a film is too bad.

do u ever watch a film in theatre.....I wont say declaring a film as a flop is nonsense...

when u pay 60 bucks to get ur a*** burnt, anyone wld be humiliated to that extent.

Vaseegara is a stupid film , which each and every individual shld avoid seeing.....they are making u feel sick abt ur life, after folling u for 150 minutes and bunch of useless songs and fights....man these films shld be banned...

film makers should not end up doing films like this for commercial purpose...they have responsibility......they have to refine Indian cinema.....as a metter of fact vaseegara is a remake of a successful telegu film and vijay's payment is nearly 8 crores inclusive of city rights....now tell me....u wanna say Vaseegara still needs a damn?!

Declaring the film as flop superficially approches the issue of whether it was a good or bad movie. Why not get down to the actual demerits of the film instead of making blanket statements??

What happened to Vijays hair in Vaseegara? Why they use the same family sentiment over and over again?

Vijay should try to act in new tamil movies and not movies copied from telugu and malayalee movies.

SAR dissapoints a lot, none of the songs sounds catchy. Usually Vijays movies contains good songs. Therefore should Vijay try to act in movies which VS composes music to bec he is the most heppening music director.

gayathiry.....i know vaseegara was shown in many cinemas in London. did u seeit on screen or video. the complaint is the film does not have a strong screenplay. i think VJ is stuck between a certain age range and he needs to move a step higher. he is not a kid/youth (see his films 1991-1996) but he is also not mid twenties as well. he needs to act at an age suitable to him. thats why suddenly Vikram is at the top. i just came back from south india and vaseegara was already playing at small suburban cinemas rather than big ones in the city. as for Udaya....welll the filming first started in 1996!!!! god help us.

Movies like Gemini, just because of the cheap song O Podu was a hit but the movie was crap by all other measure. Vaseegara had a good taut story line and was entertaining and worth the 2.5 hours of fun. So, people who say Vaseegara is not good and stinking motherf*ckers.

Vasegara is a great film. It is currently being showed in Iraq . My Iraqi soldiers laughed till they cried. The bloody Americans couldn't stand it though. I'm now a great Vijay fan. Great actor. Great smile. Vijay must visit my country someday. that is, if there is one.

First of all people who say that Vasegara was a good movie should think about this.
The main thing needed for movie is a good storyline.
Vasegara did have a basic storyline but the director should have given better scenes. For example, the deepness of their father's friendship.But instead they focused on only the hero and heroin for the full movie or 3/4 of the movie.When I saw each scenes I felt that they were just repeating again & again.
The jokes are ok but again the scenes. Vijay did not do a good job this time.The songs are fairly ok.Sneha does not know how to act & they have paired her with Vijay.
They are not a suitable pair.

Hope that Vijay's next picture Udaya with Simran will run well. They are a good pair.We have to pray for Ajit's next picture Jana, for Sneha is acting.

I would like to tell all of u that movies with Sneha as the heroin has never done well. She is only suitable for co-actress.But O God why is she popular among the directors when there are people like Ashwariya Rai & Simran.
She does'nt know how to act,dance & give facial expressions.

Vasegara was boring, almost all movies are boring now. All movies have the same story line:
guy sees a gurl, falls in love wit her, but there is some family issues, so its hard for them to be together....blah blah blah.......its all the same in every movie....no offence
