Rajini has done the houdini escape act again! He has refused to be part of anti-karnataka protests for the cauveri issue. Instead he comes up with suggestions like ganges-cauvery connection and centralization of rivers, as if he's a genius! These "Ideal" solutions have done their rounds. Once again, at an important moment, Rajini shows his true color. Shame on him and his fans if they still idolize him!

  All i wanna say is tht ...ya ppl make decisions emotionally....me as a matter of fact ...am not a Rajni fan at all....infact i hardly see his films....but i think rajni was very reasonable when asked those ppl to reconsider the strike issue....They are juz making a scape goat & callin' him a traitor as he is a kannadika....but actually he's not a kannadika but a marathi...listen ..i understand tht the farmers a suffering...& obviously am not nuts to support the karnataka govt. in this issue....they dun have any rights ...but as it seems even we dun have the rights to stop electricity....its a central govt. issue & not a state govt. issue...juz b'coz whatever they are doin' is wrong...it doesnt mean when we do wrong it b'comes....we tamils have always been sensible than the kannadikas...one hasto pressurise the central govt. man....all these so called patriotic tamil actors are juz putting up a publicity stunt...thts all they do...try bein' reasonable....dun ever be a cause for volence to break up....this is almost developin' into interstate war....ya shud never take decisions in haste....everybody wants to fight....but have ya ever realised the cruelty of violence & war....bein' emotional doesnt help...try bein' sceptical & intellectial....

  All the Rajni-bashers are showing their true colours too, by the way. No prizes for guessing why all these, who sit in their air-conditioned comfy zones, are waxing about the farmers' plight. It's just a wave. A spark has been triggered against Rajnikant. And all his die-hard critics are joining in, without even sparing one single sensible thought on what the real issue is all about. High time they realised what kind of jerks they look like when they address such a burning, sensible issue like this by calling names like "mental" and "thamizh drohi". Bharati Raja, who had the nerve to cast Riya Sen, who has probably never spoken a Tamil word, as a Tamil village belle in "Taj Mahal", should know more. Same goes with Satyaraj, who let the camera caress the fleshiest contours of his "non-Tamil" heroine Naghma in his directorial debut, "Villadhi Villain". Karnataka is behaving roguishly, defying the SC verdict, no doubt. But when one person advocates some sense and caution these freaks that agitation would lead to more agitation, they react by playing the Tamilian vs Kannadiga card. Great! And those who see sense in his argument are branded "blind fans", without realising that at the end of it, they look no different from the rogues in Karnataka. In Tamil Nadu, the easiest route to fame is playing the Tamilian card. And that's exactly what these jokers are doing now, no more no less. And there are suckers for this fake Tamil affinity. But when Rajnikant says "uppitta Thamizh mannai naan marakkamaaten", none of these pseudo-Tamil warriors believe him, because deep down in their heart it has been registered, in bold letters, that WHATEVER HE SAYS, HE'S NOT A TAMILIAN. So pathetic. Go ahead with your blabber on Tamil regionalism. You have every right to be self-centred. But then, don't act like the sacrificial lamb, and blame others for being self-centred.   iam writing this after i hv seen the Bharatiraja's interview on TV. I
  dont know from where this bharatiraja (all of a sudden) has started
  showing his face to the public. He looks very agitated at superstar's
  statement. even other actors too looked like they are very much
  against superstar.
  
  i fear, instead of the rally going against cauvery issue, it seems it
  will end up against superstar. now a days superstar is responsible
  for all events happening in T.N. Veerappan, Cauvery and still more
  to come.
  
  I agree fully on Superstar's statement and its a Wiseman's view of
  approaching the problem. This statement may be very difficult to
  understand for the very common man who go by emotions.
  
  Hope, people who adopt violant measures(in cauvery issue) will lose
  something to worry in the long run and will soon repent for their
  deeds. Till then, lets hope for the better that we will be blessed by

  Can anyone prove that BharathiRaja or anyone has said we should do violent protest? If somebody had said we should hurt Kannadigas in TN, then it is wrong.

  Last time, there were riots in Karnataka, because of cauvery water. To avoid that, supreme court should never rule on this matter. PM or CM of TN should never request cauvery water. TN should block Cauvery at the border. That way no water will come to TN and all the Tamils in Karnataka will be safe..... Agree?
  
  India should say nothing, even in UN, against Pakistan irrespective of what it does. If India protests, Hindus and people who migrated from India will be hurt... Agree?
  
  No action should be taken against Salman. Nobody should even say anything against him. If we do, he may get angry and may drive rashly and may hurt people. We should be very nice to him, so that he is in a good mood and drives well...Agree?

  Rajini fans, if you cannot accept that Rajini has made a mistake, leave it at that. Just to justify Rajini, PLEASE DON'T CLAIM WRONGFULLY that others are for *violent* protests. Nobody in TN has even hinted at that. Nonviolent protests are acceptable and is the right way to go. You all know that, but just to justify Rajini, you are acting otherwise. Don't unnecessarily try to create more confusion and incite passions by falsely hinting that the protest in Neyveli is *violent*!

  Periyar's mother tongue is Kannada if you don't know and that's why this whole argument is raised.He is even credited to the famous saying that Tamil is a Barbarian Language. ("Tamil oru Kaattu Miraandi Bashai", not even "Mozhi"!). Because if there is a tension between Tamils and Kannadigas the so-called Dravidian Movement may lose face owing to a kannadiga inspired movement and that is worrying you. Nowhere in south India except TN do people really care about the Dravidian sentiment so don't fool yourself by betraying your fellow state people.
