Hello people!!
I jus’ now came to know the story of S.J.Surya’s, ‘NEW’ - starring Ajith and Jyothika.
The story is like this.
Ajith is a 5 yr old kid who has a 20 year old elder brother. He’s jealous of his brother ‘coz he gets everything he demands, right from the pocket money to Bikes, and Ajith asks his parents to get him all they’d got for his elder brother. But, they say him that he’s gotto grow up for that. So he goes to the god and asks him to make him physically big. The god grants the boon and leaves. This is the role Ajit performs. He’s a 20 year old guy with the sense of a 5 yr old kid and the rest is the story.
I guess there’s an English movie with the same subject. Does anyone know what movie it is?? Please tell me!!

  Appears to be borrowed from the Hollywood movie 'Vice Versa' staring Judge Rainhold.
  
  The plot summary of this 1988 movie -
  
  On returning from a buying trip abroad for the department store in which he works, Marshall finds he is in possession of a strange ornamental skull. Marshall is divorced and is looking after his son Charlie for a few days. The skull has special powers, and when Marshall and Charlie simultaneously wish they were each others age, father and son exchange bodies. Now Charlie has to go to work, and Marshall to school.   this movie, will definitely be a rehash of two superb hollywood movies.
  1. BIG - The Tom Hanks starrer, which won acclaim for its fresh theme. it has the same story as the one mentioned in the topic
  2. JACK - Robin williams is a kid who has four years of physical growth for every one year of mental growth.
  
  Its not new for S.J. surya to rehash old themes. In fact, only he claims his story for Vaalee to be original. Its nothing but an adaptation of 'poomani' a recent tamil film with Murali, devayani and prakash raj.
  
  so lets hope at least that the film is enjoyable

How did the boy disguise himself in "NEW"? When "BIG" got up in the morning, it had disguised itself as the adult in the bed. In "vice Bertha", while dress is torn, the body changes. I like latter one. The animation by which a girl disguises herself as an adult is popular in Japan. Japanese people have very many people who like the work treating "transformation." I want to look at "NEW" early also for one day. Are video and DVD already released? Even if I order from overseas, I want to see the work.
