This site contains aayutha ezhuthu songs, which the movie is directed by Manirathnam, songs are composed by Ar.Rahman.
SONGS? Another "technolike" crap from AR RAHMAN.
Only two songs are nice to hear(nenjam ellam thegam & sandai kozhi). I was much expecting from Ar. Rahman another "ALAIPAYUTHEY", "THIRUDA THIRUDA", "UYIRE" type of songs but i was dissapointed hearing the songs. I do agree that the songs will rock for a time as usual, will disappear in the air after some time...

Can any composer in the world EVER cover the spectrum of genres that ARR has
covered in his musical journey since 92? Just think about it. You don't even
have to be a fan to answer that......

Hmmm, now comfortable enough to write something abt 'Ayudha ezuthu',i am hearing it probably the 20th time, and it has fully grown on me.
Though i am a lot dissappointed to miss the melodious Rahman, his slow pianos and brilliant flute pieces done by Naveen,i am comfortable with these technos too
1.Yakkai thiri-Good one with good lyrics,i am humming this all time.
2.Hey good bye nanba-Hah,the female whispers ,male screams,a good techno with its foot-tapping beats and electronic synthesizers.
3.Jana gana mana-hearing..good ,but yet to catch..
4.Nenjamellam-I am wondering why rahman gave this to Adnan sami,he is a wrong choice & that beats this song down,it would have been better with some other singer in it.
5.dol dol-A rap..and that's it
6.Sanda kozhi-possibly the track which i am hating and will hate more when i hear this anymore,Madhushree kills the lyrics and the tune itself doesn't have the maturity that Rahman had in his earlier folk compositions done for Bharathiraja and others.

Rahman has proved himself again. His superb voice in Jana Gana Mana, the humming he has given in Sandai Kozhi and His voice in Yakkai thiri song are simply superb.I feel that only Rahman can make a best choice of the singers (Vasundhara-Shakalaka baby,himself-Sandoshak kanneere,sreenivas-thaiya thaiya etc.,).He has proved it again by chosing Adanan Sami to sing nesippaya song. You can't stop hearing those songs. But in his sandai kozhi song only his humming is good.

Yeah agree that the songs need to be heard several times before one gets into it.
It is an aquried taste so not everybody might like it.
But to me it is still good compared to the rest of the songs that he made recently.
Good job Rahman

Yeah, though the songs are great, one wonders how Mani is going to use them all,'Yakkai thiri' atrack which somehow feels bit of sufi feel in it is going to be wasted as a discotheque track i think(guessing it from the trailers beamed on TVs).A great escape indeed for Mani,i wasa previously wondering how that complex fusion will find a place in the movie, hmmm.

I think the songs are good. But someone was right, I kinda miss the melodious ARR songs. Hey Goodbye Nanba is my personal fave while others are neat too. One song I can't ...jus CAN'T listen to is Sandai Kozhi. I wish he'd use proper Southie talent tho. The job that Sami's done in Yuva's ok, but NOT in Aayutha Ezhuthu. wtg arr!

Sandai Kozhi is definitely crap! The female cannot pronounce tamil at all!!! ARR is extremely talented.. but he spoilt the industry by starting a trend of inviting people who kill Tamil...

People,
The song has an acquired taste.
You can't compare it to Kadhalan or Alai Payuthe.
The songs have a new genre.
It is more to the taste of city goers.
But it is still one of his better efforts.
Village people might not like it cause the song is too metropolitan.

The songs are really good...Think this will suit the movie as a whole.. As others said 'sandai kozhi' is not OK.. For an 'A' class audience movie these songs do well..

After watching the movie, the slightest discomfort i had with the songs vanished...look the movie is racy, and the three leads are energetic young men,the screenplay is again mindblowingly built,so where comes the situation to keep a melody?,Rahman's score..even Dol,Dol which i hated in the audio sounds so appropriate in the movie..Rahman has given something that the movie demands..there lies his genius...his BGM in the movie is also commendable.
