I would like to discuss about various characters of Raghuvaran in Thamizh films and the reason why he is compared with Al Pacino.

  Bhavani is a character from a dubbed Telegu film starring Nagarjuna, Raghuvaran & I think Amala, Raghu's character is underworld DOn, called bhavani, I think the film is called Udhayam.

  I recall Udhayam. I recall the fight scenes distinctly copied from Kamal's Sathya. I don't remember Raghuvaran though. Must be ten years ago.
  
  Does anyone remember the AVM TV serial back in eighties? Raghuvaran plays an alcoholic. I remember my parents being in awe of his performance. I just can't remember the title. Do you, err..Raghuvaran?

  The serial was "oru manidhanin kadhai" story by siva sankari....
  wow...wot a performance...
  he can make his presence felt...but it'll be prudent on part of the film makers if they use this "aura" man for intelligent roles...and not chumma "yaennn..yaen.....purillai..." appadinnu thondaila sikki sikki paesara roles.

  by the way, have u seen Raghuvaran's, first Hindi Film, it was back in late 80's, he acted with, Dilip Kumar, Govinda, Madhuri Dixit, he was damn cool in that film, of course he was the villain.
