I think Karthik is a good hearted actor. Because...the movies he acted is so brilliant. No other actors couldn't act like him. For example, the movie "Unudathiil Ennai Kodhuthean" He is so pityyyyyy (means paavam). But i couldn't risk to watch that part...it made me cry. I think Karthik is the best of all actors.

  well you can't expect an ignorant fan of a film actor, to see reason. They may not know what they call as "brand equity" in marketing parlance. pepsi and coke spend millions of dollars to sponsor sports events in television and we watch it almost for free. these MNCs do not do any charity but only creating a "brand equity" for their products. likewise, people in entertainment industry all over the world create an image around themselves so that they can attract attention and limelight. It is not without reason that pop stars move around with funny costumes. Ironically, beggars we are, we expect our stars to give us something so that we can eat without doing any work. ( even in our myths we dream about only "atchaya pathiram", "kamdenu pasu", "karpaga maram" etc.,) mgr exploited this begging culture of tamilians to the hilt and the mantle has presently been taken over by your own rajini.
  
  Film industry is run by private sector, where market forces determine the salary of an actor. an actor fixes up a charge for his acting and the willing producer paid it. we pay the money, which we could afford, to see his acting. Why expect him to repay the money to you back. A satisfied customer would not ask his money back. an actor takes his salary only for acting and not for being generous. If a soap manufacturer offers a spoon free along with his soap….don't be fooled by thinking that it is free. The soap is not worth the money you pay for it and it is being compensated with the cost of the spoon.
  
  If am not fully correct in my analysis, there is another reason. These film stars may carry guilt in their mind that they are being paid disproportionately large sum for their talent and work. it is true. naturally, they may get a soothing effect by parting with something they earn. In the process they cheat themselves as well as the people. You can always find a guilty mind behind any philanthropic act.
  
  If actors like mgr or rajini are really concerned with their fans, the first thing they ought to have done is to ask them to stand in ration shops instead of standing in cinema theaters. The members of this forum are fortunate. These rajinidotcoms may not know there are millions of unfortunates out there in tamilnadu, spoiling their future by raising banners for rajini. Will rajini's generosity ever going to help them. history tells us that inspite of mgr's generosity his main fan group as well the vote bank…..the lowest among the schedule castes of tamil nadu are still leading a wretched life. had they got an ungenerous but visionary leader to rule themselves…..they would not be still poor.
