S'PORE'S most popular newspaper paid tribute
to HEY RAM and Kamalhasan.in this paper only
hollywood movies are shown in the showtime section and that only one page,but for HEYRAM
3 pages was dedicated to this excellent movie
the first and only tamil movie to be printed in
this newspaper.It shows hey ram is an international movie.the new paper wed/29/3/2000

  - HEY RAM Was paid a tribute in this paper only because of the porn scenes involving Kamal,Rani Mukherji & Vasundhara. bcoz like Hollywood movies, it had porn scenes and that's why Singapore Paper has devoted 3 pages for this crap film.

  Who said so? When Baasha was released this paper put up news of this movie, rajini and the singapore rajini fans in two pages.
  
  When rajini came to singapore in 1991 and 1995, they also put up in the first page and also under sub-page.The first page shows the heavy crowd in the airport such that the singapore police advice him to leave the airport by other exit.
  
  There are few more news about rajini was put up in this paper and don,t just say only kamal and his movie only.

  The kamal fans always like to talk big. Godd films need to be appreciated. That's all. Other than that the papers in Singapore does appreciate all actors who has mass fans such as rajini and kamal.
  
  I too agree with kr that the New Paper did put in the first page when Superstar arrived in Singapore in 1992. The crowd is about 5000 fans. It also show in the tamil tv news.
  
  So don't just talk about only kamal but there is one more person who is crowd puller not only in tamil nadu but also in overseas. That is non other our Superstar RAJINI.

  no big deal...they always feature Hindi movie reviews or news on Bollywood...Why no one talks about how a Straits Times reporter went to watch "Indian" and was shocked?? Yes it was that bad that she hated it and ever since no Tamil movie has been reviewed.

  I know the New paper. It publishes only sensational sleasy stuff, that usually has sex and violence in them. Surprising to know that they published nice stuff like Hey Ram in them.
