  ratha kanneer anyday is a movie marvel...it had a poignant message....
  all said and done, he retains his character of mocking at others even when he is in tatters...such character consistency is wot made the movie live through the ages....

  I haven't seen any old tamil films at all, but from the very few i have seen of the last few years, the ones i freak on are Agninakshatram, Michael Madan Kamaraja, Bombay, Anjali, Indira, Roja...i liked Mahanadi too...but it's too depressing

  At last shankar...some one decided to mention
  Kaadhalukku Mariyaadhai.
  
  It is the best movie ever made. It includes all languages. (I know it is a copy from malayalam).
  I haven't seen the malayalam version but I reckon tamil version would be better. But who cares about what language it is in.It is the best story ever shown on screen.
