Just when time was wiping the memories of Monal's suicide, Simran's controversial statements had forcefully brought the public attention back to the issue.
The moment she landed up on from Canada, Simran called for a Press meet in which she came down heavily on Monal's boyfriend Prasanna and Mumtaj. As a result, both these camps have, in turn, piled up allegations against her.
First step - Mumtaj is trying to file a defamation case against Simran for calling her and her manager Riyaz a bunch of thieves and for saying that they made money immorally.
The deceased Monal's lover Prasanna belongs to dance Master Kala's family. Simran minced no words when she lashed out at them during her interview. They have now launched their attack.
Kala's sister Brindha had this to say -
"Simran had abused everybody in my family, except me. That's because I know lot of secrets about her. So, she wouldn't mess with me.
When Monal died, the producer had made all the arrangements for Simran to go to Chennai, but she didn't leave. Instead, she was busy touring all the night clubs & discotheques in Canada. She didn't ever slow the slightest trace of having lost her sister to death. All the Tamilians in Canada know Simran very well. If she continues to spread malicious things about my family, I'll be forced to reveal some of her dirty secrets."
Monal's suicide is bringing out lots of Skeletons from quiet a few cupboards. The 'who's behind Monal's suicide' topic has shifted to 'How Mumtaj makes money' to Brindha's 'I'll spill Simran's secrets out'. Now, the focus has shifted to the personal lives of these two actresses.
