Is it true that Tamil movies are banned in some countries?

my fren tells that in some european countries, they don allow tamil films to be shown in public places coz they are too stupid and may retard their citizens mental growth.
fren says germany, france, finland, italy are in the list.
is this true?

Yes. very true./ tamil movies are banned in noddyland, mickymouseland and the island of bulbulstan.
soon to be banned in congo, bongo, dongo, mango.

As far as I knpow, it is not banned in Germany. A private Germman TV Channel showed Balumahendra's Veedu and Balachander's Thanneer, Thanneer couple of months ago.

Well in Canada you can see Tamil films anywhere especially in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver where there is a large population of South Asians living especiallly Tamil films.
