Well, I am from Penang , Malaysia. To my best knowledge I would suggest the top 5 actress in Tamil Film Cinema to be:
1) Simran ( Pretty and great acting skills in movies like Paarthale Paravasam and Parthen Rasithen)
2) Sneha (Pretty and talented as a new comer and really great acting too)
3) Laila (Cute and great acting in Nandha)
4) Jothika (Cute, a bit plum but great acting skills)

None of them speak with their own voice, with exception of Vadivukarasi, who, despite the jokes, is really a good actress. She was sexy in Sigappu Rojakkal.
I've argued about the voice elsewhere in this forum, but nobody was interested. What we have thesedays are dumb actresses - literally because they can't use their own voice.

Hi ROJA BIG FAN,
I'm also a great fan of Rose(Roja). I feel that she can act very well. But directors r not giving her a good opportunity. Although Parthiban's 'Sare Gama Batha Nee' didn't do well, she had a good character in it. And she did a good work.
