The Quality of tamil newspapers is going down.On may 1st yesterday, Kamal fans organaised a function to ditribute Commodities
to those lessfortunate.In that kamal answerd the questions of reporters.In one situation kamal told that, iam also in the way of
opposing Fanclubs for cinestars, like Ramadoss.He opposes now, but i converted my fanclubs to Welfare centres 11 ysr before itself.
Also kamal said he would like to support a "Non Caste favouring" Politician but could find none.Thus said kamal and in no way he
opposed ramadoss.
But last evening, all papers headed, "Kamal rocks Romodoss" So and So.When will these press people change?

  It is unfortunate that Kamal after mastering the film making started doing un-ethcial way of film making.
  Not giving credit to creators but has a skeleton of screeplay and fit with varied characters and complete the film as mass production.
  he has to stop doing such things.

  Its surprising that people have already started talking about sandiar story. Krishnaswamy made a comment that the movie is very violent while the movie is still being made. Another post is claiming that it is copied from Junior Vikatan etc. Wonder where all this info. is coming from!Anyways lets talk of copying that occurs in Tamil Movie Making in general not just Kamal. Why just sideline one actor ? For eg. I saw Baasha a couple of days ago. Ofcourse its made after Hum (copied) the Hindi movie. "Terminator" theme is played freely when Rajini walks. The theme is lifted straight, not even modified! I can talk of several 100's of movies with top actors that are copied/modified/inspired whatever you call it. Atleast Kamal puts in his acting part for a movie, whereever the source be.

  You have quoted everything from Dhanu's pulambals to one of the magazines.
  1. I already mentioned about that in my response to Vijay. read my earlier posting
  2. Kamal did not stop him from selling the hindi rights. It was dhanu who failed to sell the movie when he had a good offer
  3 and 4. The costs have gone into the overall production costs already and there is nothing to be said for particular bits of expenses incurred
  5. Dhanu is a MDMK man and so not in the good books of JJ. Again he tried to place the blame at Kamal's feet for that. A clarification on what Kamal said on his birthday - Given the current political situation, If I were to come to politics, then it would have to be with a gun and not flowers. Kamal's relationship with JJ has been neutral all along.
  6. You are right, Kamal was pissed off as the exhibitors started chopping off bits and pieces of the movie making it difficult for people to follow the movie in totality. Dhanu had nothing to do with that.
  7. About dhanu making payments on the set and everything, nobody is complaining about that.
  8. FYI, my trichy source is a film distributor and not a fan of Kamal
  9. I meant dhanu was trying to exploit the situation between Kamal and Sarika to embarrass Kamal. I never said he was the cause of their split

  iam more a kamal fan than you, i think.I love his dedicaition and class in his movies.But Yaanaikkum Adi sarukkum.same thing happened in aalavandnaan.I know kamal also did big films in his banner like heyram, kuruthipunaa, vikram and now the halfway maruthanaayagam.But what kamal did to dhaanu is just unjustified and cannot, whatever you try.
  
  Afterall during 1stweek of the film, in the first scene, dhaanu thanked kamal for acting in his movie.the 2nd week, it was removed, hope u remember.For me, dhaanu dont do any underground works, like what u say, he is a more good man than kamal.

  One clarification about JJ and Kamal
  
  You should remember how Mu Ka recently sent a letter addressed to JJ that he was quitting politics. He released a letter which JJ sent to MGR before she came to politics.She complained to MGR about how Kamal used to misbehave and harass her. Can you shed more light on this. I am very curious to know what happened. This letter was released in Times of India sometime in March this year
  
  Also when that scum of the earth Jaalraraaja (Bhartiraaja)along with Vijaykanth and Kamal went to meet JJ to seek permission for Neyveli rally, I felt she was very cold to Kamal. Being a pioneer in the cinema industry, I felt that she was not receptive to him. Is my feeling right?? I always felt both had some problems but were acting neutral in public.   After failiure of aalavandhaan, its not only kumudham, but also many magazines gave details abt the cost of aalavandhan, Juniorvikatan issued a picture, the famous vijay and nandhu kamal fighting scene, vijay kamal's face replaced with dhaanu's face.
  
  Dhaanu told so many issues abt aalavandan. junoior vikatan gave all the cost of graphics and many details.Why did KAMALJI didnt reply even for one question? u are telling, dhaanu did all mistakes and kamal did none. madiyil ganam illay enraal vaziyil bayamillai.dont tell that kamal dont wanted to go as low as dhaanu. first klamal should come with his explainations, let we fans decide that who was wrong, if sound comes from one side and other side is fully silent, any one will guess. why didnt kamal address atleast, atleast one issue?

  I have already stated in my earlier posting that Kamal has never responded back to criticisms or trouble created from any of his producers. There is no reason why he should reply back to dhanu's accusations. When vijayakanth was asked the question whether Kamal has raised the issue about the money owed to him by dhanu to the actors council - his reply was 'No, Kamal handles his own affairs'.
  I dont know what is the point you are trying to make here. Do you want me to say Kamal is a bad man and dhanu is a good man? Forget it, dhanu is a low life

  A little history here about Kamal and JJ -
  Kamal acted in one movie with JJ, I think it was 'Vunnai sutri ulagam' and if I am not wrong they did not appear together in any scene in that movie. There was no film connection between the two.
  In the late 70's MGR tried to rope Kamal into AIADMK and Kamal sort of went along for a few months but eventually declined. In fact in the movie Mangala Vadhyam, there is a song featuring Kamal 'Vandina vandithaan ithu Vaathiyaru vandithaan....' which is an obvious reference to MGR and Kamal will keep showing the 'victory' symbol in that song. That was the closest he came to joining AIADMK. JJ might have been pissed off by this connection and sent off that letter to MGR.
  But during that period JJ was not close to MGR as she was still dallying with Shoban Babu, so again there was no connection between Kamal and JJ. During her rule 1991 - 1996, he must have met her 3 times, once in the airport, JJ's fast for cauvery issue, Chevalier function for Sivaji.
  During her current rule, he has met her again for 3 times maybe, once for cauvery issue, once at the CII industry meet and at the swearing in function
  About JJ cold shouldering Kamal I dont think so, becoz I have a picture of the 2 of them exchanging pleasantries at the CII meet. Again it is not much in way of evidence, but remembering JJ and how she doesnt give a damn about people she doesnt like I would definitely say their relationship is atleast 'neutral'.
  About Karunanidhi releasing those letters, it is not only shameful that he even acquired others personal stuff but also chose to publish them. As you might have known, there was no reaction from both Kamal and JJ on this issue.

  Thanks for the explanation. I heard otherwise that Kamal made some unwanted sexual advances on JJ. That is it.
  Is it true that JJ had some soft corner for Rajini prior to 91 -96? I heard that she was also trying to tie the knot with Rajini which was portrayed in Padayappa. I have heard lots of my fellow Rajini fans talk about it. According to you nothing about Thalivar is right , so curious to hear your thoughts
  
  Also what is this controversy surrounding Chandiyar. PT leader outburst, the originality of the story and Jaalraaja apprehension that it is not his story. Hope this will not go the Maruthanayagam way. We are all aware how Sangali Murugan and Gangai Amaran cried foul after Devar Megan release claiming that it was their story which was stolen by Kamal

  I have heard that JJ used to watch Rajini movies with interest, I guess it was before they tangled. But I have never heard of the story about tying the knot.... I would definitely say that is baloney.
  History on Devar Magan -
  Before Devar Magan, Kamal agreed to do a movie for Sangili Murugan and it was titled 'Athiveera Pandian' to be directed by Gangai Amaran. But it was dropped as there was lot of disagreement on the story and direction with Gangai Amaran. When Devar Magan was started Kamal he gave Sangili Murugan a role in the movie, who along with Ramu Machan assisted Kamal by giving him inside news on the devar community.
  As far as I can remember there was no claim made by Gangai Amaran or anyone else on the story of Devar Magan.
  About Sandiyar, it is early days yet. PT Krishnaswamy has no following and is already in trouble with JJ, who knows maybe he will be the next POTA victim. He is just doing this to create caste tensions in his area. He is a nobody.
  About Jaalraaja's apprehension, it is just that.

  Now to your favourite topic. You have been criticising Rajini about his box office potentials after Baba debacle. You have claimed him to be a Soomar star only. Now a bit of analogy about the other Superstars of other states
  
  1) Chiranjeevi has been having a dismal run for the last 3 years till Indra happened last year. All his movies prior to that have been wash outs. Same with Pawan Kalayans Jhonny as well which is the Baba of telugu industry for 2003. He is considered a super star as well
  
  2) Mohanlal is another classic example. None of his movies have been hit for the last 2 years. Even the latest one which had Priyadarshan as the director bombed in the box office
  
  3)Amitabh - We do not have to discuss. According to me 75% of his movies after his comeback in Shahenshah has been trash and most of them bombed
  
  4)MGR- People says that his last 6 or 7 movies prior to entering politics were very very average at the box office. I have heard it from Sivaji fans in Shanti theatre. I am not sure whether that is true though
  
  5) In hollywood none of the Superstars like Kevin Costner, Michael Dougalas, Harrison Ford, Alpacino barring Tom Cruise have decent hits in the last 5 -7 years. This comparison is just as an analogy only
  
  When the so called Superstars of different states including MGR are having such a bad run, are you fair in criticising Rajini so much after Baba debacle.You were saying that he was only a hype star like Vijay with no box office draw. I felt that you were being extremely unfair to him.

  what iam going to tell is unmai,
  
  after aalavandhan, PKS and Panchathanthiram did well, not worst, and they didnt bite the distributors hand but made a decent profit.
  
  Anbbesivam did worst in india but really its hit in U.S.(Source - India Today)
  
  what worries me is kamal tells that the advertisement for A.S not done well, its one reason for failure.I just cant digest. When i see from my office 5th floor, i can see a big hoarding of anbesivam. Lot of such banners were seen all around.This is pure SAPPAIKATTU.
  
  But anyway, he is going to regain what he lost, in NALA and Chandiyar.No doubt. Even if rajni film get released opposite to Chndiyar, it wont get affected.Kamal seems to target all class in chandiyar, the stills itself shows.
