Pardon for saying his but some of the threads are so repetative, esp all those about who is a better actor, which heroine is prettier etc...
Thre are lots of issues that affects the lives of Indians. So lets try to discuss more inspiring and intelectual topics rather than repeat the worn out ones.
Thank you.

I COULN'T AGREE MORE. JUST STUDY THE LIST OF THREADS AND WE CAN SEE FOR OURSELVES HOW BASE OUR THINKING IS. TOPICS LIKE :
WHOSE HAIR LOOKS BETTER?
WHO HAS HOW MANY HUSBANDS?
wHOSE NOSE IS NOT STRAIGHT ENOUGH?
PLEASE GIVE THE READERS A BREAK ....

Doctor, apparently you have stumbled into a wrong group. This group is for specificaly for Tamil film. There are good threads that discuss Tamil film. If you want to do something good for the Indian, there are many other forums, like the Malaysian-Indian forum in Yahoo group. Or just join politics and lie like the others.

Dear Dr,
Well i agree that the postings could be better, but this is a forum about tamil films & unless u mistakenly posted here, i would like to to see you start some "intellectual & inspiring" postings.

I get the point that Dr. Ponnu is making.
Just see for yourselves the topics started.
Who is a better actor?
Who is a better actress?
Who is this or who is that?
The same topics are repeated all over. It reflects so bably as if we Indians can't even think of topics to start a discussion!!!
Have we Indians become so bankrupt of ideas?

It's true. There are some repetitive threads. But I see the Doctor suggesting topics like 'What do you think about Thaipusam' or 'How can Indians be successful without getting involved in MIC'. In that case, this is certainly the wrong forum. Its even more interesting because we get to see the mentality of the youngsters in this forum. Just go through the other threads and see the filth in their language. That, I guess, probably saddened our dear doctor. May he find the right forum and have his piece said.

yeah, I agree, but no body wants 2 take part in this kind of threads, what can we do, for example, I started a thread about an excellent art film called "Kutti", but no body (except a few) were not interested, they are only interested in hero worship like (Rajini, Kaml, Vijay Ajith) & sex related topics about actresses.
I do not know where this is leading to!

see this is always going to be a problem with any forum which is unmoderated..
at the same time, when a serious topic is going on, often ppl write any rubbish for the sake of it and ruin a thread, the only option is to start a moderated forum.
