Munnabhai MBBS the cult classic comedy is now being remade into Tamil by Gemini Labs who have brought the South Indian remake rights of the film. And the surprise is that Kamalhassan is playing hero in the Tamil version.

The film will be directed by Saran and Jyothika is likely to be the heroine. The music will be by Bharadwaj, who is Saran’s hot favourite and the pooja of the film will be on May 14.

Kamalahassan has given bulk dates from May 15 to July 5, with sets to be erected at the Campa Cola grounds in Guindy, Chennai. Two songs will be shot in foreign locations and the film is scheduled for release on August 15.

Kamal has taken everyone in industry by surprise as he had made statements that he will only do films in future under his home productions and that too no remakes! It looks like Raj Kamal’s own Krishmna Leela has now been put on hold atleast temporarily

  kindly enlighten about the word narcissism.U are a die-hard kamal fan, no doubt. That is why U can't see the connection between kamal & narcissism. This has been admitted by your hero himself in his interviews. Look up the meaning of the word in the dictionary & U will know what I mean.
  Marudhanayagam will only be a dream. Kamal just does not have the money to produce it. U fans say that it will be his "dream" project. U are right. It will always remain a dream.
