The above are based on my personal opnion. Talking about Early 2000's ,Rajinikant only movie Baba Flopped and yet to act in any movies. Vikram and Danush have Given Blockbusters.While Vijay and Ajit failed to make any mark.Vijay latest movie should save some grace.Kamal has produced tenali which is a Blockbuster others like PKS and Panchithandiram are Hit and above Average. Anbe sivam was average. Virumaandi is doing well. Only Hey!Ram flopped at the Box-Office.

  haha, good one, let's turn the story around, now, Rajni also made a mistake in venturing into bollywood, this was also in the late 80's till early 90's, so how come kamal did not take over Rajni's place during that era?
  
  dude, cool down, do u know Rajni's fan clubs are 9,000 odds in India, while Kamal's fan clubs are only 1/2 of it, 4,500 odd!!, now u tell me Rajni has a fewer fans than Kamal, oh plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!

  Kamal Hasan is a better actor than Rajinikant but he is not a better collection king than Rajini. Rajini has his own fans for his films , but Kaml has not created such fans for his films, people has to go and see his films first than only his movies becomes hit. But for Rajini fans will see his film first, after that it is for the rest of people.

  Gee. fellow forum hubbers should recall what Rajini told in Mannan Movie, about being number 1 and number 2, which is better? Food for thought. For your info, i am neither kamal nor rajini fan.
