Any one interested in film making from chennai

I am a movie fanatic . My interests are
in movie direction. I have no practical experience in film making except that i toy around with my digital camera.I have been learning a lot about professional film making and analysing lot of movies. Is there anyone you know in chennai who have similar interests. I would like to work with them and start a film career making short movies.
