  the film is very boring and it music is very irritating.madhavan spoils his name by acting in films like priyamana thozi.than jothika want to improve her acting , whatever the charecter she took she acts in same type .she just suits only for the modern girl.this types of homely charecters are not atall suits to jothika.

  but i don't think Jo is only suited for modern characters.. she looked damn gr8 in sarees in Priyamana Thozhi!!! The movie was ok... And what is wrong in a couple postponing their first night for till their friend gets married?? Those who would not make this sacrifice and go for personal pleasure only would talk stupid things...   You have to blame the audience first, for making all his 1920 araicha maavus a hit. Believe me I have never ever enjoyed or liked Vikraman films. the films unnai ninaiththu , vaanaththai pOla were equally Kodumai. Even the new Director of "Partheeban Kanavu" has tried to follow Vikraman's foot steps.

  The new director(of parthiban..) atleast avoided the melodrama which is the basic element of any Vikraman film.
  Vaanathai pola,Unnai ninaithu also add Surya vamsam,one another highly sentimental and melodramatic film which was a hit.

  i feel that those who insult rajkumar and vikram
  for the film priyamana thozhi are people who have no sense of music nor any sense of viewing a average good film. maybe they like to see a lot of tishuun tishuun films or a lot of baba quality
  without any doubt priyamana thozhi is one above any of tamil trashes i have so far seen.

  we as a human should not simply critic or scold people.Vikraman and S.A Rajkumar had put thier effort.But they are not lucky.Actually vikraman is a good director.His film vanathepole,unnidhatil ennai koduthen,unnai ninaithu,poove unnakaga is really a super hit movies.So why we want to simply blame him.S.A also a very good music director.Don't simply crictic people.Come on yah!
