  That's hoew it looks like... Really sad case. Our authorities are treating us Indians like babies. I go agree that our fellas are creating havoc but the stupid guys up there don't want to understand that movies are not the cause of gangterism... They are finding an easy way out by putting the blame on Tamil movies with violent overtures. Wonder why violence in pictures like Terminator 3 is welcomed ??? Sigh....

  its been sent back to censor board again, maybe it will came back with a lot of editing and maybe with a name change, like what they did for bhagawathy.

  it's really sad...they ban/censor everything in malaysia. just imagine, even bruce almighty was banned here at first (until of course, the public demanded for the movie and they decided released it.)
  
  i heard that virumandi was banned due to religous factors and also political factors. not because of violence.
  
  looks like pudhukottaiyilirundu saravanan will win among the ponggal releases in malaysia if virumandi doesn't pass through the censor boards.

  Hei don't worry guys it seems like the movie will be released this week.alright,happy.But i don't know how far they have censored the movie and it would be sad if the most interesting scenes been cut off.

  the movie release today in malaysia ....when i went to buy ticket it was full house for 8.30pm and 11.30pm show ...anyway i went there at 10.30 in the morning .... TOTALLY SOLD OUT IN JUST 1 HOUR.. KAMAL WILL SURELY WILL WIN IN MALAYSIA ALTHOUGH THEY MIGHT JUST SHOW THE MOVIE FOR 1 HOUR AND 45 MINUTES ONLY.

  (and blame kamal for his 'plays' with heroine abhiraami, and his self-promoting intellectual aspirations)then
  read the following links. there are surely down pits in the film, as pointed by them there are many good things
  in virumaandi
  1. all roles played well
  2.music camera, art direction and direction is well
  3.different way of storytelling in screenplay.
