Nowadays there only seem to be hindi,punjabi etc. actresses in the tamil cine field but hardly any tamil! Why? Aren't tamil girls talented or are they just not considered attractive enough any more?

  அதற்கு பல காரணங்கள் குறிப்பிடாலாம். பொதுவாக தமிழ் பேச தெரிந்த நடிகைகள் படும் அல்லல்களை ஆராயிந்து பாரத்தால் அதை வைத்து ஒரு சினிமாவையே எடுக்கலாம். பொதுவாக ஆரம்பத்தில் அவர்கள் நல்ல பணம் பார்த்தாலும் பிற்காலத்தில் அவர்கள் இன்னொருவனுக்கு இரண்டாவது மனைவியாகி அதற்கு பிறகு விவாகரத்து பெருவதே இப்பொது சகஜமாகி வருகிறது. இவர்களில் சிலர் இதையும் மீறி பிற ஆண்களுக்கு வைப்பாட்டியாக மட்டுமே இருகின்றனர். அது மட்டும் அல்லாமல் சினிமா துறை ஒரு நிரந்திரமான தொழில் அல்ல. மேனியின் பொலிவை மட்டும் முதல்லாக வைத்து நடத்தபடுகின்ற் அத்தொழிலை நம்பி தமிழக பெண்கள் முன்வர தயாரில்லை என்று மட்டும் கூறலாம்.

  I'm a punjabi guy here. In response to the Tamil - Ceylon.. there's no such thing as Northern Enslavement to any dravidian in conjucntion with this fair and dark thing. You can find a really dark Brahmin and a really fair Chammar in Punjab Dude.. It don't go by fair or dark. Caste was meant by your job scope. Some stupid people think it's related to skin colour.
  
  In reality if you Tamil People stop condemning yourselves, you'll start to realize that no one has looked down at you from the begining. And what does dark skin have to do with beauty. It's all irrationale. So does it mean that the fairest woman from Switzerland is the most beautiful woman in the WORLD.
  
  PLease, I'm dark skinned, my entire family isn't.... i'm not adopted coz my features are similar to theirs (for all you critics)
  
  Do something about a persons figure and he looks attractive.. Look at all the African - American women in the world... BROTHERS they're HOT!!!
