What do you guys think Karthik's best bit of acting in a movie was?


P.S.-Does anyone know if karthik won the national award for supporting actor for "mouna raagam"? My friend mentioned it but I didn't know for sure.

  I have to say that his role in MounaRagam did stand out, mainly thanks to Maniratnam. Did you notice, how in the next Mani ratnam movie (Agni Natchathiram) he had a a very similar character.

  karthik is an excellant actor compared to lot of other today's actors. .karthik is very handsome actor when compared to an actor like vijay. In my opinion one of the basic qualities an actor needs is looks oterwise it is not worth watching the film.

  Karthik was an excellent actor, I liked all his films, he was kinda funny too, :) oh yes, and good looking to, but sad thing is he never acts in any good movies now :(

  My personal pick would be "Gopura Vasalile" where he acted with Bhanupriya and directed by Priyadarshan (his first tamil movie). This was a wonderful movie with fantastic music by Ilayaraja and breathtaking cinematography by P.C. Sriram. Catch it if you can.
  
  The problem with Karthik now is that none of his films are releasing. He has done so many films over the past two years but none of these films are releasing. When is "Kadhale Swasam" going to release by the way? Now, he has signed over a half-dozen films. Let's see if these films will release and make him big again. Only time will tell.

  Varusham 16 is where Karthik gave his best performance. It is also Fazil's best movie in tamil, in my opinion. Karthik also gave the best performance in Mani Ratnam's Agni Natchathiram. A talented actor sorely overlooked at his time. Nowadays, he just repeats role after role. Time for him to do something different.
