sushmita sen, tabu ,pooja batra, yukta mookhey.
in tamil except may be meena, aishwarya(lakshmi daughter) ranjita others are average or short.but they make it up with their weight.

Yukta Mookhey is particularly tall and lissome----she is 183 cms tall and yesterday I just by chance saw her. Boy! she looks so tall, I'm 182 cms tall and I felt dwarfed by her as she was wearing a high heel.
In Tamil, the actresses are very weighty and hence they are more stout. I wish I could see a scene where a tamil actress cradle carries her Hero!

yeah, northie actresses (especially punjabi ones) are extraordinarily tall and well-built. when they act in southie movies, they look like giantesses next to our puny heroes. yes yukta is 6 foot plus, pooja batra is close to six feet and tabu and shilpa shetty are 5'10" i think.
occassionally you'll see some very tall actresses in south. ranjita is 5'8" i think. 2 very tall actresses from the 70's/80's that not many people know about.
one is kanchana who was 5'7" (very tall for her time, mgr/sivjai were both 5'6")
second is radha (ambika's sister) who was 5'9" and an ex-volleyball player. she looked like she could beat up most of her male costars. the directors/cameraman used camera tricks and made the heroes stand on stool so she'd not look like a freak!
