Kaur sat in front of the monitor, staring blankly at it... Depression, dejection, feelings of remorse all went through his mind as he sat doing all this... He was wasting his time like mad... His favourite hobby had evolved into almost an art.Simply seen, one noticed that he checked mail at the rate of 30 times every minute... He had tons of work of do that he kept putting off endlessly. The more he did so, the worse he felt, and the vicious cycle continued, unabatingly.

Life went on as uneventful a mail check as another, till She came into his life. Now, She was something... a sudden red spot in his black and white world... She was the new boss in office, and she was too darn pretty a sight to be thought of without skipping a heartbeat...

Now everytime he felt bored, a situation that earlier would have warranted a mail check, he now diverted his thoughts to her... He did fantasize... Nothing too ambitious, just the simple pleasures of life, maybe a word with her someday, a smile from her radiant lips, a kind word...? Nothing like that however happened. She lived in her own world, he was trapped in his own little cubicle. Opportunities just didn't happen as he very well knew... One had to make it happen... But that was one thing that he knew he'd never be able to accomplish. He was stoicism personified, he was stasis incarnate... He preferred the unromantic nature of his unbearably boring life to the pangs of fear and unreasonable trepidation that shot through his mind when a social occasion might force him to make a gesture that would say, possibly warm him to the object of his socialisation. It was thus a very tough predicament for him.. So while he longed to be popular and great, he had resigned to his seeming fate that seemed to predict that he'd be a recluse forever.
That was when she sneezed. Now a lady who sneezes and can't find a handkerchief handy is understandably put in a very delicate situation. Sara, for such was her name was suddenly caught that day in such a situatuion. Kaur happened to have a clean hanky handy at just that moment. He offered it to her, she thanked him. End of story, though. It didn't lead on to anything. In fact he ended up with him being a hanky poorer. Now what's the moral of the story? Simple. Stop wasting your time reading trashy stories like this... In fact think of it, you could be a Kaur in the making?
