there is a recipe for making chutney with tofu.
Recipe for Tofu Chutney:
Ingredients:
Coconut - 5 pieces of coconut each about 1" by 1/2"
Roasted Channa dhal - 6 teaspoons
Jalopeno pepper - 1
Hing - a small piece
Ginger - 1/2" piece
Tamarind paste - 1/2 teaspoon
Onion - small piece (optional)
Tofu - Extra firm style - 1" thick slab
Salt to taste
Procedure: Grind all the ingredients except tofu in the Asia Kitchen jar of the Sumeet blender (wide jar). Once the coconut is ground well add tofu and 1 tbsp. water and grind till the tofu is blended well into a paste. Season it with mustard, urad, curry leaves and serve with idli or dosa or vada.
If you want, you can blend the curry leaves with the other ingredients.

mm...tofu. High in protein. I will always add it to my fish curry, when the fish is 1/2 cooked. Yum yum very tasty.
Here r my favourite foods using tofu.
Tau Sambal
Tau Goreng (deep fried tofu w/peanut sauce)
Lemak curry (vegetable stew w/coconut milk)
Prawn w/tofu sambal
Tau Telor (Tofu mixed w/beaten egg & deep fried)
Tofu on hotplate
I'll give u the recipes for Lemak curry & Tau goreng.
LEMAK CURRY
INGREDIENTS
Tofu - 1 diced & fry
Carrot - 1 slice into big round pieces
Baby corns - 4 cut into 3 pieces
Cabbage - sliced
Cauliflower - Cut
Red Chillies - 2
Coconut Milk
Lemon grass - 2 use a pounder to crush slightly
Dried prawns - 1 tsp soak in boiled water for 10 mins & pound.
RECIPE
Pour some oil in a saucepan or pot. Add the dried prawns & fry until fragrance. Add in the lemon grass & fry. Then add in the carrots & a bit of water & let it to be cooked. When the carrot is half cooked add in the other vegetables. When all the veges r cooked, pour the coconut milk, salt, tumeric, tofu & chillies & bring it to boil.
TAU GORENG
INGREDIENTS
TOFU - 1 diced & deep fried (marinate w/salt b4 frying)
Bean Sprouts - 1/2 cup Clean & put in boiling water for few mins. Drain & put it aside.
Cucumber - 1/2 cut into slices
red chilli - 2
Green Chilli - 1
Garlic - 1 clove
Peanuts - roast & remove the skin
Brown sugar - 1 tblsp
Black Soya Sauce - 2 tsp
Tamarind juice
Water
Salt
RECIPE
Pound the red chiliies, green chilli, garlic & peanuts together. Mix the tamarind juice, soya sauce, brown sugar, salt & water together in a pot. Put the pot on the fire. Bring it to boil. The sauce has to be thick.
Place the Cucumber & sprouts on a plate. Arrange the tofu on top & pour the sauce over & serve.

U can use Tofu instead of Coconue in almost all South Indian dishes, to make it more nutritious and maintain teh same taste.

Kindly send me a receipe on how to prepare fried prawn and the masala used to make the prawns tasty and crispy.
