Does anybody out there have a recipe for indian cake. It's really good and it's different then cakes in U.S. It's a lot firmer. I had it before and she use to also add sourcream in it. Can anyone help me?

Indian cake
Self raising flour(use it if you are making it the first time) 1 cup(or 1 cup flour 1 tsp bakink soda)
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 table sp vanilla essence
1 tsp rose essence or pinapple
3 eggs
cashew, rasin(use the ones in indian stores), Tutty fruti is not available here you can use dry pappya or dry pinapple
Beat the eggs & sugar
Mix the flour slowly . Add the dry fruits essense
Pour in a greased cake tray
bake 30- 45 min at 360 degrees F
you can pierce a kabab stick to see if the inside is cooked.
Don't too many dry fruit otherwise they will settle down.
